After 2 months of being subjected to a hostile working environment due to their lack of communication with current employees on hiring, I’m in a situation where lies are being told about me in an attempt to get me fired because a coworker wants my job.

Working here was one of the most humbling and draining experiences I’ve ever had. Walked into the job super excited and willing to learn . Jessica Marshall destroyed that for me . Fortunately while working closely with A few people in Human Resources department I was able to get a few recordings of some very unprofessional things that have been said/ happening . Including some v racial slurs from those working in HR Gina, Jessica and Chelsea .I have a lawyer viewing these audio tapes and I’m super excited about the justice that will be served .If anyone wants to email me please do maybe we can start a group for a class action lawsuit especially with the information I have I find it hard for them to be able to beat this .

This bank has low star rating for a reason. The personal that work here are unprofessional. I used to be both a member at trustco and an employee. The HR manager Jessica disrespected me and my religion and therefore I left. I will never return to trustco as a member as long as Jessica in HR still works for this company.

I am appalled to report an egregious incident of racism and discrimination at Trustco Bank that has recently come to light. It appears that Trustco Bank, under the management of Sara Steinbeck, has not only condoned but actively participated in the unjust termination of a black employee and a Mexican employee, signaling a disturbing violation of their rights under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.The termination of these two employees, allegedly without cause, smacks of discrimination and racism within the ranks of Trustco Bank. It is deeply troubling that Heather Henry, Sara Steinbeck, and Trinity Lamarche are implicated in the harassment of these employees. This behavior not only goes against the principles of equal opportunity and fair treatment but tarnishes the reputation of Trustco Bank as a whole.Even more disconcerting is the fact that when these employees, rightfully aggrieved by the mistreatment they endured, took the courageous step of lodging complaints, they were met with retaliation in the form of termination. This blatant act of reprisal not only violates the trust these employees placed in the organization but also flouts the very essence of justice and accountability.Equally disturbing is the apparent negligence displayed by the HR department at Trustco Bank. The failure to conduct a thorough investigation and provide these employees with a fair chance to present their case is a clear dereliction of duty. By sidestepping their responsibility, the HR department has further deepened the sense of injustice and betrayal experienced by the terminated employees.Trustco Bank must be forewarned that their actions are not only morally reprehensible but also legally indefensible. The termination of employees based on race, coupled with the failure to address their grievances and protect them from retaliation, puts Trustco Bank in direct violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.This review serves as a public condemnation of Trustco Bank's discriminatory practices and the alleged misconduct of Sara Steinbeck. It is my hope that Trustco Bank reevaluates its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, rectifying this disturbing situation promptly. If not, they should be prepared for the legal consequences that undoubtedly await them in the form of a lawsuit. Discrimination has no place in any workplace, and it is imperative that Heather Henry, Sara Steinbeck, and Trinity Lamarche are held accountable for their actions. We see what you are doing Trustco. Stop now before you are shut down.

I can understand the low rating for this place. Very unorganized. I was supposed to be in for training today just to be turned away. Even though the higher ups told me yesterday to show up and that I was good to go. When I was told by the trainer to come back on December 4th I called the man who told me to come in and then he spoke to another higher up and said I'm good to go into training now don't have to wait till December 4th. So I tell the receptionist this info so she can let the trainer know. I'm then greeted by a very rude blonde heavy set woman. Who is telling me to leave because I "keep interrupting class". I'm supposed to be here rightfully and I'm being kicked out? Extremely unprofessional. That was a huge sign to me to not pursue a career with them if this is how they treat future employees. Dodged a bullet with this place.

I applied for a HELOC through Pratik at Trustco. After weeks of delays and a complete lack of communication, I was informed that my credit and application were run for no reason, that Trustco didn't service my county. Something that obviously should have been stated upfront. This bank is a complete joke and their employees are unprofessional. Stay away.

Quoted me a rate for a refinance and then changed it after they had taken my application fee. My credit is excellent. Deceitful and dishonest bank. Impossible to talk to a supervisor.

My partner has been working with the Mortgage Loan officer Renee for the past 2 months trying to secure a mortgage for the house we want to buy. In this time we've been let down time and time again over the lack of communication and professional courtesy. For a month we've been asking about the progress as closing was scheduled for today and we didn't want to end up in a situation where we had no place to go because our lease in our apartment is up and they already rented the space. Here it is closing day, still not able to close and now we're facing homelessness and the destruction of the family we put together over the last 3 years. I do not recommend doing business with this institution as they don't set accurate expectations not do they care if they negatively impact our lives. Renee should not be in mortgage lending as she destroyed our family. Thanks Renee!
