after years of both my daughter and i bringing our vehicles for repair to top notch, allowing the owner of this auto repair shop believe he could simply treat us in a nasty manner, with his constant rudeness and sarcasm, yesterday, January 2, 2014, with temperatures not reaching 3 degrees and wind feeling like -18, i walked out of his shop, never to return, after driving in treacherous weather, frozen from the cold, and finally coming face to face with the reality of how cruel people can be. strangely enough, i have referred this auto shop to others because, for the most part, my daughter and i have had our vehicles repaired by (his mechanics) and have felt satisfied. the last repair for my daughter's vehicle was a cost of $5000 +. my daughter was always apprehensive when it came to calling the shop for repairs, so, i would call for her. no matter how nice i was, there was never a "customer friendly" approach from the person/owner, "tommy," who obviously was/is representing this shop. as stated in my email below, to him, after i was able to warm up and realize how his final cruel act affected me, i finally came to the conclusion, that even if you are miserable, you/we are accountable for how we treat others and there is no excuse for this man. i would say stay away from this shop. there are many other competent shops in the area. i found one with 5 stars for every review, which included treatment of customers to be a positive and most friendly one. everything happens for a reason, so, i believe the reason was so that I could find a hidden treasure, Capital Auto. email to "tommy." for years now, i've been bringing my pontiac to your shop for repairs. i've referred your shop and spoken highly of the service to many others. my daughter has been going to your shop as well because i will not let her go anywhere else. you have always been a very rude and nasty person, tommy, not a smile on your face ever. you probably have a miserable life, are not happy with yourself; therefore, must take it out on everyone around you. you have been sarcastic to me in the past and as far as customer service, you lack it and have always left much to be desired in this very important area. however, the work your mechanics have performed on our cars has been satisfactory, so, my daughter and i take deep breaths and due to our faith, leave your personality and horrible attitude aside. my drive is from ravena becuase, again, i've been satisfied with the repairs performed on my car while in your shop. what you did this morning affected my heart and i realized that no matter how much i try to believe there is good in everyone, not everyone is kind and sensitive. your treatment towards me brought me to tears (not that a person like you would care). had you given me an opportunity to explain why i couldn't drop my car a few weeks ago, WHEN THE LAST STORM HIT, rather than immediately start rambling off and assuming, maybe you would've understood. i had written you a note this morning, thinking that i might not have a chance to see you, explaining everything, left my home at 7 am, drove in dangerous weather, arrived at your shop after 8 am, nearly frozen and you turned me away. yesterday was new year's day. i didn't think to call your shop because it was a holiday and i would have never believed that as a regular customer, you would've treated me the way you did. i am a firm believer that you reap what you sow. this will eventually come back to you. you never look me in the eyes when being hurtful towards me, as you were this morning. i pleaded to leave my car until you were able to work on it becuase i was frozen and the drive back would be horrendous. the signal light sensor you replaced, stopped working at about the same time my heater did. this could be a coincidence, but it was an expensive repair and i believe replaced about 11 months ago. this was a face to face encounter for me with how cruel people can be. you may pat yourse
