I attended there years ago when the Linda first opened and the acoustics were pretty bad. How they have changed. The show, The Stick Men, was fantastic. Their music provides a very complex soundstage, but the amazing acoustics at the Linda made this a very enjoyable listening experience.

I can't say enough about The Linda. Amazing acoustics, out of this world sound system, and a cozy intimate seating arrangement. The Linda is a short walk from my home, so I go there often to all sorts of events. I love the monthly Rochmon record playing presentations, and I've learned so much about the albums of my youth. They have musical movies on the first Tuesday of every month, and it's such a joy to rewatch older movies, and hear them in surround sound. I've seen a lot of cover bands and many singer songwriters too. The prices are very reasonable, and I mean reasonable, as in $10-$30, so really never an excuse to miss a show or event you're interested in. And your ticket purchase and participation also helps support WAMC public radio, who operates this venue. Plenty of free parking, a rarity, band almost worth the price of the ticket alone! Please go to The Linda and enjoy yourself!

Great performance venue and has quality events. One event I really enjoy is the swing dancing event that happens on Wednesdays at 7pm. They have live bands every time and it only costs 15$ for the event.

Linda WAMC is the best kept secret in Albany. This place has plenty of parking and is very well run on the inside. There is open seating with refreshments available. There's plenty of room for dancing. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to go back.

Swing dance night Wednesday is always a good time. Among other events and atmosphere plus staff everything runs relatively smooth.

A wonderful venue. I mainly go for the Wednesday night blues and swing dance. Nice community, great live music.
