I went to get gas for my car and went inside to pay. Then as I’m trying to pump nothing is coming out. Then the guy is calling me back from inside the store saying my card didn’t go through so I try again. But when I checked my account it was saying that the first transaction did go through. Don’t go to this one the guy at the counter can’t be trusted.

Made a purchase today for over 20$ I put my card in...was told to take it out and reinsert it. Got home and found out I was charged twice. Went back to the station. . Showed the same cashier my bank statement..asked for a refund. . He stated he remembers me being there but couldn't reimburse me because he couldn't locate the last 4 digits of my card in the system. I'd have to go through my bank to dispute the charges.

They are gouging prices on their inventory especially paper towels and toilet paper that they're selling individually out of packages. That don't have any packaging around them they're selling them individually from a different pack.2.99 for a roll of paper towels that's not packaged.$ 4.50 for 3 rolls of toilet paper that is not packaged. . horrible

Across from the university of Albany Washington Street entrance is this 12 pump Sunoco. Tons of space between pumps all around. It's what all gas stations should be like. Also a convenience store. 3 stars for this large chain. I default chains to 3 stars as they must be A-OK to expand as they have.

I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars. Which is something I've never thought (let alone written) before. We were visiting my daughter at UAlbany for parents weekend and she and I stopped in to buy snacks for my daughter and some Stella for myself. We waited in line for 20 minutes because the automated scanner wasn't working, and to be honest I really felt badly for the woman attempting to input each SKU by hand. That changed pretty quickly when she asked to see my daughters ID... she's only eighteen. I wasn't in any way planning on sharing my Stella with her. When she refused to sell me the beer, I honestly thought she was joking. Turns out she was not. She told me to come back without my daughter if I wanted the Stella. I did not. But I did drive down the street to the Exxon where I encountered zero issues, even though (gasp) my daughter was with me! The experience was so bizarre and I'm guessing it was the personal preference of the employee and not the policy of the store itself. Anyway, it was not by any means the end of the world but it was annoying enough for me to share.

WHY are people posting that this is the best station??? They must be relatives or paid for a good post! WORST station ever...never had any issues with any other sunoco station except for this one. Counter person made no attempt to accept my pc credit for gas. He stated i had nothing on my pc card...didn't want to argue so i asked for my receipt. THEIR receipt showed i had the credit..
