I student taught Spring of 2022 here and I have to say this place is amazing. Teachers are good and dedicated and Sherri and Matt are wonderful people. Thanks for everything.

I highly recommend looking for another learning center as the Director Sheri Canfield seems to think that she can say whatever she wants to the parents of the children with no repercussions. She has made several out of line and very inappropriate comments to my daughters mother. This is supposed to be a well-rounded child learning center that works with your kids to help them and we have not seen that since our daughter has been enrolled. I again highly recommend looking at other learning centers. Very disappointed with this facility and this “director”.

I am very disappointed in this facility. The director/owner Sheri makes uneducated comments about the children under her care. Even my daughters pediatrician said that she shouldn’t be giving medical advice. She brought up sending my daughter to a psych ward because she gets overstimulated and needs one-on-one care. She doesn’t have the training or certifications to do so. Her “medical advice” is a danger to the children in her care. I was even advised by the pediatrician to remove my daughter from her school due to her inappropriate comments. I would never say a word against the teachers though as they are very well educated/trained and always so kind to my child but their owner/director is a detriment to the company.

Sheri, their warrior leader, has demonstrated an amazing disregard for the development of my daughter - which is bizarre since that's supposed to be their schtick. I voiced concerns that I was not made aware of concerns the school has for my youngest daughter's well-being and after a couple back and forth's, I asserted that, "I have ****ing rights" in frustration - not exactly an excuse for swearing but my concerns are real and valid. She, with her infinite business expertise, responded with, "If you do not feel comfortable with us at Spotted Zebra you are welcome to look at other kindergarten alternatives. I will not hold you to your contract." There is like, 2 months left of the school year and I'm currently trying to make sure my daughter can continue to receive services when she enters public school next year. The suggestion alone that I can just find somewhere else to bring her shows how dismissive she is of valid concerns and how much of a personal disregard she has for the development of my daughter.From what I can tell the teachers there are great, but she is poisoning the well with her tone from the top.
