June 2024 by Chels HC
Let just start off by saying the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous! I got married here in June of 2024. The venue was all inclusive we didn’t have to worry about anything and it included everything except a photo & music vendor which was a reason we choose it to make our lives easier. But there were a few hiccups on the actual day that I was NOT happy with. The day of my wedding the original bartender scheduled (1 bartender for 100 ppl) apparently got injured the day of. So they threw on a brand new girl, who started that day on the bar and the bar was completely backed up and took forever to get drinks because she was new. My husband went to go ask if someone could help her out and no one ever came. The passed hors d’oeuvres only went to certain people, they completely ignored the people that sat in the booths. The hummus, crackers etc that was on the cocktail hour never had utensils put out until my mother had to say something. No one was around picking up glasses or plates so the tables were packed full. Cocktail hour was suppose to end at 7pm and everyone didn’t end up going upstairs until 7:30pm so they cut 30 mins into my reception time. We choose prime rib as one of our entrees and half the people couldn’t eat it because it was mooing and was completely raw that the whole plate was filled with a plate of blood which was gross. As for the dessert, we had the Italian assorted desserts that were included in our package and mini nothing Bundt cakes. They were thrown in the corner on random trays not even displayed nice, I made a sign for it that wasn’t even there. No one knew it was there so more then half didn’t even get dessert. After the wedding was over I returned that Wednesday to pick up my remaining items. I walk in and all my candles were still full of water and not packed up. The wedding coordinator Noura couldn’t find half of my vases, the box they came in or the packaging along with my wicker basket. I have been trying to contact her about my personal items to see if she found them, and I haven’t gotten 1 response back from her in over a week after multiple times reaching out. I finally just asked for a reimbursement of the loss of my personal items… again no response. Her communication is absolutely horrible. I’ve had to reach out to her boss n the past, due to the lack of communication from her) You would think they would want to make it right. But clearly don’t care because they already got paid.
I 100% would NOT recommend this place at all.

My wedding was perfect. Nor was super responsive to all of my questions, and extremely accommodating to my last minute changes to an already last minute event. Nor took on my wedding in four weeks and executed perfectly. My wedding was so beautiful, on time, and organized. I can not thank Sixty State enough for my perfect special day

We had our wedding ceremony and our reception at this venue on January 20, 2023. It was the most amazing time. The staff were all so helpful and professional. Let's talk about the coordinator. She was wonderful to work with. When I tell you I have not one bad thing to say, I do not. she helped me in so many ways; even moved my car for me on the day of the wedding because I parked illegally in front of the venue and did not have time to come back out to move my car. I would recommend this venue for any event. The ambience alone won me over. The food!!! Hors d'oeuvre and entrees were delicious. Bella Napoli baked treats at the end- just amazing! My guest were overwhelmed with everything; they thoroughly enjoyed their night- as of course my husband and I did also. I was so thankful I chose this venue. If I had a choice, I would choose it again!

When my husband and I first got engaged, I was SO excited to spend forever with him, but the idea of planning a wedding filled me with anxiety and made me nervous. I've never planned a wedding before, I didn't even know where to start, and quickly found myself getting overwhelmed. We went to visit Sixty State Place and the moment I walked in the door I was blown away. The beauty of the building speaks for itself; the marble walls, the ceilings, a bridal suite filled with luxurious history, vault doors - it was amazing. What made me fall in love with 60 State Place even more, and was the reason we decided to have our wedding there - was the absolutely amazing, kind, sweet, patient, and supportive Nour. From day one Nour told me that everything was going to be okay, that she was going to help me figure all of this out and there was no reason for me to be overwhelmed because now I had her to help me. I felt so comforted by her, and she guided me through the entire wedding planning process - like the sister I never had.Nour knew exactly what I wanted before I even did, and had a whole vision for what the space should look like to reflect what my husband and I like. Nour even went out of her way to have some special surprises for me the day of our wedding which were amazing. The food, the service, the staff - everything about our wedding was incredible and a 10/10.Everyone at Sixty State Place went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, and we will be forever grateful for the beauty they delivered that day. Nour will do everything in her power to make it all perfect, and she did just that for us. We are forever grateful for her.

My husband and I are so grateful for Nour and Joe at Sixty State Place. We had our wedding in October of this year, after a long wait due to the pandemic we finally had our dream wedding! We could not have asked for a better day. The food, service and venue were everything we wanted for our special day. Thank you so much to all the staff, especially Nour and Joe who went above and beyond for us!!

Had our wedding there in June of 2021. Ruggerio Hospitality went above and beyond to make sure it was the wedding of our dreams. Everything was perfect, the staff was delightful to work with and the food was phenomenal. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day. If you’re shopping around for a venue be sure to check them out, they are amazing! They exceeded our expectations in every way possible. It was such an amazing experience and our guests were so impressed with how beautiful it was, how attentive the staff was and how delicious the food was. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Would not recommend. Have been there for 2 functions a holiday party and a wedding . The holiday party it had just opened so attributed the issues to growing pains . The food was served very late and ice cold& there were too many people in the vault( which is like a basement) if your claustrophobic this is not for you you could not move . The wedding was very disorganized the excuse was staff called in. Food came out after 9pm and was so so but very late for a wedding. Very small ice bar that ran out of food and did not seem fresh. Most of the staff tried hard, but they seemed inexperienced alot of utensils were dropped , plates were not cleared or cleared before people were done. Some people did not get soup. There was alot of time waiting for plated dinners which are hard to present to over 100 guests timely and they were not. Some people just left they were sick of waiting for dinner at 9 pm some left after dinner .The last table was served dinner at 9 :40 pm . Perhaps having them do a buffet would be a better idea as plated dinners seem to be an issue here. Wish them the best but not a good experience either time.
