“JOELEE! IS FANTASTIC!!!!! I recently helped a disabled friend transfer units to ALBANY-MENANDS SELF STOREAGE, because this facility offers such reasonable rates. We both have broken hands & used a delivery service to move to items. JOELEE provided flat carts & a huge moving bin, industrial sizes to facilitate the unloading of the vehicle & organization of the unit. She allowed us to use them as we organized & repackaged much of the contents. It poured that day so we repacked on premise, with her blessing.
Calling multiple storeage companies greatly confused the customer who had other issues. Joelee's kindness was remarkable & commendable. I have, for various reasons over the years, been in numerous storeage units & factories. This facility is reclaimed / converted factory space. I am seriously reporting, if you subscribe to the "5 second rule", you could eat of the floor here! I have never seen such a clean well maintained manufacturing/ storeage area, EVER! Floors, shiny & clean. Interior of individual enclosures had an almost sanitary feel. The reason for our repacking was to inventory belongings & replacement of the packaging so filthy from the debris & rodent droppings from the other MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE "ACCOMMODATIONS"!
JOELEE runs a clean, affordable, efficient building. Her best attributes however are her customer service technics. She is funny, kind, professional & compassionate. My friend needed a plethora of help & patience. JOELEE delt with her with a smile & a kind heart. The business location is immaculate & economically priced, run by this sweet woman with available access (huge freight elevator), & necessary equipment. Can't ask for more. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. ASK FOR JOELEE!!!!”

“Moved from upstate NY to Austin with 3 U-boxes. Drop off was great and the boxes were dropped with a forklift right where we wanted them. Pickup was just and great and on time.
Delivery was faster than quoted and access at the facility in Austin was really easy.

“OK. I’ve used this location several times, it’s convenient, right off the highway on and off. Never had a problem with the staff, very polite and professional. The other day while returning a truck that I rented, I went to use the restroom, which is a single stall. There was this young man sitting backwards on the toilet, using the tank as a desk, where he had all his drug paraphernalia laid out and was in the process of shooting up drugs. I have no idea if this person was a client of U-Haul or he just walked in to use the restroom. Definitely unacceptable. What if I would’ve walked in with my daughter and she had to use the restroom? And she walked in on this person without my knowledge. Something to bring to the attention of the U-Haul staff at 139 Broadway, Albany. Besides that I had no other issues with U-Haul. UPDATE. DID U-HAUL NOT UNDERSTAND THE REVIEW THERE WAS A PERSON SHOOTING UP DRUGS IN THE BATHROOM. IT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.”
