This is in reference to a shopping visit on August 26, 2024.
My Wife was looking replacement earrings, so we went to Banter by Piercing Pagoda in Crossgates Mall, Albany NY the one near Macy's. We had a VERY POSITIVE SHOPPING EXEPRIENCE THANKS TO YANIRA BROWN ??????????????? who in my opinion is among one of the top SalesPerson's we have had the honor of dealing with. Her charm, humor, and honest opinion was well welcomed. Take note to all salespeople, you must engage with your customer's acknowledge them, communicate, not just sit there on your cell phone or look at the customer like they disrupted your day, which I felt was the case with the other Banter location in the mall during the same shopping visit, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO GO TO BANTER BY PIERCING PAGODA YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AND PLEASE IF YOU DO PLEASE LOOK FOR YANIRA SHE IS THE BEST ?
she should be in charge of training new employees AND THAT IS COMING FROM TWO PEOPLE THAT ARE IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BUSINESS.

My husband bought me a $140 dangly belly ring. I got it for Xmas and the whole thing was crooked. I went here to get an even exchange and they would not do it. Wasted $140 for a belly ring that’s broken. The worker should’ve noticed. Will shop somewhere else from now on.worker didn’t ask for his phone number because he’s a male, we pulled up the charge and location and they STILL wouldn’t.

My 5 year old and 2 year old had their ears pierced 2 weeks ago. The two ladies working did a wonderful job. Clean, organized, and stress free. The recommendation of cleaning spray and multiple daily twisting- their ears look so healthy and practically healed!

Destiny and the manager at this location go above and beyond my expectations every single time. I will go out of my way to go to this location specifically. Its always neat, and organized. They are always willing to show me items even if just browsing at the time. They're very PATIENT! Both of them. It truly makes a difference. You're lucky to have them!

Had a 3pm piercing appointment for my daughter, and no one was there! Clock on the register said they would return at 4! Waited 15 minutes and left.

Just don't get your ears pierced here they messed up my cartilage many ears ago the gun gilot stuck it was very painful. When I see anyone getting a piercing here it's so cringe! The piercers are not a professional, the equipment is NOT CLEAN!

I wish I knew her name but the woman who pierced both my mother and I’s ears was so so sweet! The absolute best experience I’ve had at a piercing place! Would definitely return!

The associate was very dismissive of several other customers while waiting on one couple. I understand that making a customer feel special is cool but everyone should matter. It always seems like there is only one working person. Terrible they need help.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would!! Crossgates Mall HORRIBLE service! Went there to buy just a simple gold chain, stood there ignored for about 10 minutes! I watched her brush her hair, take some bites of her lunch while she was "assisting" another customer, but from what I gathered while waiting they were close friends. Never even acknowledged us standing there, was hoping for at least "I'll be right with you" but that would have meant she had to stop chewing her food to talk to me. We walked away furious, went to another kiosk and bought the same chain with excellent customer service!
