Teller refused to open an account for me because i walked in and asked can they give me a cashiers check after i open an account with them. Just went on my phone and made an account. Congrats teller, you accomplished nothing.

I don't know much about this branch but I can tell you that M&T Bank is without a doubt the worst banking institution I have ever dealt with. Their corporate culture is archaic, unresponsive, poorly organized, and dysfunctional, and their operations lack even a rudimentary awareness of good customer service. They have that dreaded combination of an efficacious attitude and incompetent staff who insist that they "are only following company policy" no matter how ridiculous and inane those policies may be. I was frankly surprised to find such a backwards, inefficient and uncaring operation in today's business environment. I can't imagine how they stay in business. My advise is to go to any other financial provider and stay clear of this disaster of a company.

This review is not related to any banking related services. I stopped by because I was in need of a notary, and the one I typically use at UPS was out. I called ahead to confirm that M&T's notary was still available as 5:00 pm was approaching, and fortunately she was. The tellers greeted me as soon as I walked in and were very friendly as they directed me to the notary's desk in the corner. The notary herself was very professional and thorough. I would definitely come back.
