I don't normally write reviews but this place left me so mind boggled. There were some amazing finds here, but every tag I saw read anywhere from $75-400, prohibitively expensive for single items. I come from a major city known for its expensive thrifting, and this store felt wildly audacious for its prices in its location.
I would think that if you started a business to sell vintage clothing, you respect the clothing and its history enough that you want to share it with others, while making a profit? This store was a goldmine for creative young people who respect secondhand and historic clothing, but I don't know anyone in my generation who could even afford 1 purse there if they teamed up with a friend. The racks were overstuffed with merchandise, and I wondered if anyone can afford to shop here because it doesn't appear that anything is being bought.
I can understand that they won't sell these important and beautiful pieces for $5 like a yard sale, but there's a sensible, reasonable middle ground like $40 for a simple shirt and not $200.
I was excited to stop here, thrilled when I saw everything, and then as soon as I realized that everything was off limits for anyone with a normal level income for 2024, I had to leave. It feels like this is a store that boasts how much it holds but is "too good for you" (the customer.)
It was really a sign of the times and how huge of a gap there is in understanding of the public and the current (pre-)recession. If everything was priced down like 40-50%, they'd still be selling items for a higher-end amount for secondhand, the store would be hopping with people, and I'd genuinely tell my friends to go and spend their money there. (And yes I saw a discount sign that everything was marked down like 20%. It was still prohibitively expensive with the discount.)
Right now the merch is not priced to share in the joy of style, history, and fashion, it's priced for wealthy people, who I would think would look down on thrifting rather than seek it out. So bizarre.

Extremely unpleasant experience at one of their estate sales. Owner has shady pricing tactics - either price everything individually or set tighter standards standards... I don't want to cash out and find that all the items that I picked from your "$1-5 section" are all $5 each!!!... Caveat Emptor!

The woman working is so rude ! Went to go try on a jacket ... She yelled at me and said I know you are trying that on it's not going to fit you instead of helping me ! Hope your business closes !
