Speaking from the perspective of an employee, as well as customer; the new management here has made tremendous strides to improve the experience of EVERYONE and ANYONE who visits this store. If you haven’t been here in a while, I encourage you to stop in.

Came to pick up online order and was told several times "it didn't exist" and "they never got the order" after the money was taken out of my account. On the fourth attempt, the person goes "oh here it is..." then it took 20 minutes for them to bring it out... second (and final) bad experience. Do not recommend.

MONTE is the sweetest angel of Macy's Furniture! I was finally designing and picking out my dream cloud couch pre-pandemic during the Black Friday Sale event and he was so patient and without his expertise/swatches to feel out in the different lighting offsetting the couch/wall color...I probably would've waited 3 months for something unreasonable if he didn't leave me with the floor color that was in stock ready to go! You're heaven!! I always refer him forward as he is off Monday and Friday. My fellow healthcare works currently are all excited to find pieces as well. My boyfriend had an awful encounter with Nick T. as he was trying also to feel out what would be best for his room. There was no patience and a huge attitude. The order was cancelled and Manager Diana was very sweet about clarifying everything. THANK YOU sincerely! I cannot wait to make a proper date with Monte for more pieces! You are the best of the best! Hope you're all staying safe and if you ever need a hospice/palliative nurse..or anything healthcare wise..I am forever indebted for your genuine care.

Went here with the intention of looking for a dining room set and was met by an extremely rude staff member. The store has nice furnishings, but staff here should be trained in dealing and speaking to customers respectfully regarding questions with store policy. From the looks of previous reviews I am not the first one mentioning the rude staff, and when it comes to choosing where I'm going to be spending my money it's going to be with a place who speaks to their customers with respect. Avoid - and do business elsewhere, because if the staff is THIS disrespectful to you when looking around, I can only imagine the nightmare should you actually have a legitimate issue with a purchase.

I knew the mattress I wanted by looking at their website but I needed to see it and feel it before purchasing. The sales lady was very nice and helpful. She did not try to pitch a higher priced item as she had seen that I already knew what I wanted. The mattress was what I had it expected it to be. 2 week wait for the delivery which went smooth. This is my second mattress purchase from Macy'a furniture gallery...my previous mattress lasted me 17 yrs. Hopefully this new one will last just as long.

The furniture gallery was closed when I arrived. It was 11:45am. I was just pulling out and I noticed a customer walking in. I was so excited. I entered the store. I saw a beautiful couch that I was interested in purchasing. Suddenly a salesperson arrived and told me, "you have to leave" I said, "why" the store doesn't open till 11"00 , oh I said, I'm sorry, "you have to leave "he responded. I Asked him the time, and for the third time he said, " you have to leave" what time is it , I asked he responded, 10:50. OK I said, and he escorted me out the door. I said, your rude and you just lost a customer. I was appalled. Really Macy's!! I went to next mall and purchased a couch from Raymour and Flannigan. Professionalism at it's best.

I had delivery, and they were hours late, no real feedback. They just dumped it in LR, no assembly, nothing. Buyer beware.

Came to Macy's to look at furniture and it was 25 mins before closing and one of the employees stood in front and said they are closing soon and they didn't want me to go in. I never felt more upset by the rudeness. I will never shop for furniture at Macy's again.

Decent selections, prices are a little high, unfortunately sales reps are rude...too much alternative options near by to bother with rude and sarcastic sales people.

Horrible delivery experience. They give you a date and time and then the time changes all day long. I waited hours and hours. Wasted my entire day. You never know when the furniture will be delivered. They lie and give you an early delivery time, then extend it throughout the day. Hour after hour. They clearly have no regard for their customers and no respect for our time. I will never give Macys any business again. Disgusting store.

I purchased furniture from Macys because they had a warranty that covered pet damage! THEY DO NOT COVER PET DAMAGE AS THEY BLAMED IT ON OTHER THINGS. I had a horrible time at first trying to figure out how to submit photos on the worry no more app! Once I loaded up the pictures @ finally had an appointment for them to look at my furniture it was a total fiasco! I waited & waited for their response after they sent over a technician & I didn't receive a response until I asked for an update which was 2 months later! Once I requested an update they told me my furniture wasn't covered. Long story short, they refused to help me in any way! NEVER BUY ANY FURNITURE FROM THEM!!!!!!! They suck

We have always associated Macy's with quality and great service. I'm writing because the six piece sectional purchased 2/2019 is in horrible. Looks ten years old. We purchased the extended Worry No More five year extended warranty that the salesperson claimed picked up where the manufacturers left off. November 2019 A claim was placed for seam separation and both fabric fading and stretching. Seam was repaired in a zig zag line. Additional claims have been nade for multiple seam separations and fabric fading and stretching. To make a long story short, the warranty has denied inferior fabric claim and will only repair seams. The warranty customer rep was rude, sarcastic and lacked any form of service recovery. We purchased from Macy's expecting quality and are now left with a sectional that's inferior. DO NOT PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY. it's a scam. Contract sent after purchase . Macy's has lost a loyal customer

DO NOT ORDER FURNITURE FROM MACYS!! They have been lying about their expected delivery dates. My partner and I ordered our couch and bed set in DECEMBER with an expected delivery date in February. It is now April and both our couch and furniture set have been delayed multiple times, with expected delivery now in MAY. I don't even trust that our furniture will arrive in May. What's more is that Macy's customer service has not been understanding at all regarding how frustrating this has been. We spent THOUSANDS of dollars on furniture and they have only offered us a couple hundred dollars back. For a delay of FIVE MONTHS - probably more. This is unacceptable to me from a large company like Macy's. If they had been honest about their perspective delivery dates - we would never have ordered with them in the first place. They clearly don't value their customers at all, and I have completely lost my trust in the company. I will be telling everyone I know.

My boyfriend and I were in serious search of furniture for our new apartment. We met Tom Fischer and he was phenomenal. Luckily thanks to him he reminded us to measure the different dimensions of the hallways and doorways to see if our dream couch would fit. Unfortunately we couldn't get the furniture we wanted here but my boyfriend and I enjoyed working with Tom so much. He was so caring and understanding, he treated us as if we were his own children. He wasn't pushy at all, he was extremely honest. I highly recommend asking for Tom when you shop here!
