I have been going to the owner Maureen since I was a child. She cuts and colors my hair. And my daughters. I have very long hair and she is hands down the best when it comes to coming up with haircuts for people with long hair but they want something different.
Hair type: I have naturally very straight hair and my daughter has tight ringlet curls. She is fantastic with cutting both types of hair

I decided to treat my stepdaughter to a trip to the hair salon. Innovations Hair Salon was affordable with the best reviews so I gave them a recommendation to her. WOW she's so happy and her hair was cut very well! I'm sending her mom there next!

I've lived with a haircut from this place for about a week and wouldn't recommend going here unless you want your hair to look like something from the 1990s. Minolo cut my hair. He was nice, but did a lot of talking instead of a lot of doing. He was insistent on cutting my hair a certain way, even though I told him I wanted just a trim and long layers. That's not what I got. He insisted I needed more volume at the top and proceeded to take out all the thickness from my hair. I have long, thick hair. Or at least, I did. I am now living with this ugly haircut that I can't wear any other way than either down or in a ponytail. Any thickness or shine is gone from my hair. For $60 plus tip, listen to your client. And for the love of God, wash their damn hair after your gross hands have been in there for an hour. The "salon" looked like a Polly Pocket playset and none of the photos were current. Don't go here. Spend your money elsewhere. I'll be spending the next year growing out this horrible haircut.

Cyndy is truly a great stylist. I had my hair colored and highlighted. She did a combination of low lights and highlights which was done so beautifully! Just had our first experience at this hair salon and we could not be more pleased. Cyndy was amazing from beginning to end! My daughter has had some poor haircuts in the past, from other places, and was beyond nervous. Cyndy took the time to listen to every detail that my daughter was looking for and it was a huge success! I had one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time at a salon. I felt like I had known Cindy for a long time even though I just met her that day. She was receptive to everything that I said and wanted and plus I asked her advice on some things as well. Cynde Slyke did a wonderful job on my thick, curly and difficult hair. It has taken me 40+ years to find someone that really knows how to cut this type if hair.
