“This hotel is beautiful. For those who need a place to stay, you won't be disappointed. The front desk check-in was friendly and fast. Show Evan some love when you go. He was abundantly helpful. He pratically mapped out how to get around the unique layout of the hotel. The first impression was great. Do not let the exterior fool you. The inside is spacious and modern. I want to talk about the staff. I would give the entire staff 10 stars if I could. This hotel accommodated March Madness teams, a wedding, and a 7 State Delegation Council on Friday, March 29th. Go over to the restaurant and enjoy the service of Dave, Tony, Danielle, Ava, and Hayley. Bring your groups here, and have your wedding here. The Crown Plaza has thee best Bartenders and Management I've ever experienced. Thank you all for a memorable evening! Just book the room and enjoy yourself.Rooms: I stayed in a suite that was top-tier quality. The bed was incredible. Im 140lbs and felt like i was sleeping in a cloudFood & drinks: Big D's restaurant is delicious. Try the burger. 5/5 taste and quality.Noteworthy details: Close to the Albany Airport”
“my husband and i are from here. we are married on 5/18, and each year pay homage to our favorite place and time by visiting a historical establishment in the area. we stayed at the argus motel last night and it was nothing short of an incredible experience. the grounds are beautiful, the staff are very personable and friendly, and our bed was super comfy. the room was so clean and we really enjoyed the butler kitchen breakfast. thank you for everything!”

“The Morgan State House Inn is charming! The house has the most beautiful woodwork throughout. We stayed only one night and had to leave early in the morning, but the people working were very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!”

“Just a quick stop for us in the middle of the road trip. Didn’t have any expectations, but turn out to be great spot. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was nice clean and bathroom was bigger than normal. Will be back if I ever back in town.”

“We were in town due to a medical emergency. We reserved a room through bookings and it wasn't showing up the manager and desk staff were very busy and very professional and polite they figured out the issue with the room and made a stressful situation for our family a good experience!”
“Hotel is exceptionally clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Safe location close to restaurants. A light breakfast of bagels, muffins and yogurt is offered in the morning. The coffee is good and they have fresh half and half cream. Beds are comfortable with cozy linens. My family and I enjoyed a nice stay here. We will stay here again when we are in the area.”

“Stayed here for the night and enjoyed my stay. For anyone looking to stay here it's a building built in 1884 and don't expect perfection. If you love old buildings you will love this place. If I ever need accomodations in Albany again I would not hesitate booking at this establishment. For anyone traveling via Amtrak the 114 bus from Rensellear station stops literally 600 feet from this place so unless you have lots of luggage public transportation is readily available.”

“The room was very nice, and the three of us girls shared it with no trouble.
There was a leak in the bathtub which kept dripping and I finally reported it to the front desk, so I’m sure they fixed it
Otherwise, it was very nice
Safety: We certainly felt extremely safe here.
Food and drinks: They had snacks and drinks available near the check-in desk. Each guest gets two bottles of water each day.”

“I stayed over the weekend in Albany for some concerts and an art show I was working. I had to switch hotels on Sunday to Albany Hilton. My husband and I were greeted at the desk by Tina. She was so personable and lovely. She worked to find an opening to get us into our room early when she saw how exhausted we were. The room was comfortable and clean and it’s a short walk to MVP. Would definitely recommend.

“it's a clean reasonable priced motel, the won't allow you to grill close to room but it's my only compliment.

Safety: lots of Camara's on parking lot and entrance.
Food & drinks: convenient store close and couple of restaurants close, to be able to walk to if needed”

“I had to come to Albany for training for my Job and this hotel was excellent! I will say my room had a stale smell at first but I just put a wall plug in and it helped! But the staff were great! They had free breakfast and cool social nights with free food Monday-Wednesday. How cool is that! Also Lataysha at the front desk was so helpful and friendly! She’s great!”
