This company has gone way downhill over the years! I've been a member for about 15 years, and all of the sudden, my account is getting restricted all the time. Nobody has the answers why. It takes 2 or 3 days to get cleared up to have access to my money again. The Client Services team can never see anything, and they put the blame on other departments. Then to talk to those departments, and get the run around. I also have tried to roll over my 401K into Fidelity, and there have been issues with opening accounts online with them, saying they can't verify my identity. Again, I call them, and have hit every department in the company, with no resolution. So, I highly suggest shopping elsewhere. I have recently opened an account with Charles Schwab. And plan to move everything there. Fidelity was once a fantastic company. Now, I'm running from it!

I like their service but will likely move my money because they force their clients to listen to "Woke" messages before speaking to someone. I really don't care what anyone believes... I just don't want it forced upon me.

I've had an account with them for several decades. Two of the three funds I invested in are traditional IRAs. This year was the first year I had to take a "required minimum distribution" (RMD) and I decided to donate it to a charity through something the IRS calls a "qualified charitable distribution" (QCD). They do NOT know how to handle these and refused to answer my questions about it. Therefore, I am in the process of transferring my funds elsewhere.

They had 1 person in the branch when my wife and i walked in for help with our new Roth IRA. Although the disheveled gentleman in the branch was nice, he was not able to help with anything we had questions about and when i asked to sit down with an adviser, i was told they would not oblige until we had 100k invested. Part of my problem was getting money from my bank account deposited into my roth. I wired with the help of my bank, but it was sent back. And when I asked for help, i was told to call on the phone. Long story short, they could not help me without having my online bank account log in info from the account I'm moving the money from. I dont have one as it is an account i only have access to in person. So, i canceled my account today as is seems Fidelity does not want my money. I will open accounts for mine and my wifes retirement elsewhere. And unfortunately, i will never recommend Fidelity because of this. It is unfortunate that this company is so far removed from helping their clients. Isn't help with my money the whole point?

I moved my investments away from Fidelity to another brokerage firm after 15 years due to a recent pattern of poor customer service. I had waited on hold at various times for 40, 48, 63, and 38 minutes. I was able to move away from Fidelity in less time than being on hold to talk to them. All my positions were moved cleanly from one firm to another, never skipped a beat. Poor customer service in such a crucial area (my money), should be punished. i will not say who I moved to, but they all make it easy. I am never asked to wait on hold more than 10 minutes with the new firm, and after switching I had a few questions and called them.

Been trying to get through to them for the last 3 days. Been in hold for a total of an hour and a half. Do not understand why if they are that badly understaffed they don't give you the option of leaving your number for a callback. Really poor customer service for a company that is handling people's money.

Fidelity Investments provides first class service and all staff highly trained and very good communicators. They offer everything a bank does, and even credit cards. Very well run company.

Dealing with these people is a nightmare. On the phone 2xs daily because no one can solve anything. Waiting for 25 mins to speak to a supervisor only to have same person come back to tell me “ I spoke with my supervisor and she said I’m right” supervisor never came to phone! Trans America was light years better! Completely disgusted.

Competent, warm and friendly in-person service.I have several accounts with Fidelity. While I handle most of the little things online or via the 1800 support number (which 100% of the time the FIRST rep on the call has been able to handle for me), a few things still require in-person visits (standing Wire instructions, etc).Every time I have gone into the Wolf Rd location for these things, I get:1) a smile2) a competent rep3) an immediate (< 5min) "I know what you need and we got it" for my problem4) a resolution within the promised time frameYou cant ask for better service these days.
