Have to give credit where it’s due. My car was towed here by Albany PD, for parking somewhere I didn’t realize I wasn’t supposed to park, on a Friday. I picked it up the following Monday, after reading the reviews and expecting the absolute worst from all the horror stories read.For the 3 mile tow, 2 day storage, plus tax, the total was $270. The guy at the desk was cordial enough. They also did give me a receipt.I’m only giving 3 stars because I think I just got lucky or at least luckier than some other folk. Also it’s very clear they have a nice little gig going on with the city/PD to make good money off of tows especially with the whole cash only thing. The parking police even went as far as to give me a parking ticket on my windshield before having it towed, which I am not paying lol.

Service quality value knowledge was impeccable! You want a cheap job done down the street from kids just graduated high school ? Go for it! You Get What You Paid For! You want quality done from experience Repair shop At quality Prices This Is The place! After buying my 2014 Chevrolet Equinox from a used private dealer I had multiple problems Like rusted out nuts that hold the tire on This could have turned out to be very bad! This Is My Go To Garage Plus I Can Buy A Cup Cake From Next Door While I Wait!

Whoever spoke to my mother, was so rude, did not help her out, and gave her attitude for trying to get an inspection done. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Terrible customer service, so I can guess the actual service.. If I could give 0 starts I would. First ever experience for NEVER again lol

These Crooks charged me 783.48 for towing my car after an accident and supposed clean up and 2 days storage. Quite a sum of money for those services! I guess business was slow that day! #Rip-off artists

Saw the bad reviews it got me worried when I found out my car was towed here. I came in to check out my car and everything was in place. The staff was very professional.

Highly recommend. They are quick and have great customer service. Also, this just might be my pet peeve but most mechanics, you get your car back and it smells like cigarettes but I haven’t experienced that here. That’s an extra star for me ?

Can't say enough good about Dotts. Towed me from troy to colonie, knocked 65 bucks off the tow bill, put new tires on after going to get them all within 2 hours.

Not only do you have to go through the trauma of being in a car accident and totaling your vehicle and receiving injuries. You also have to deal with a garage that ransacks your vehicle to find and steal whatever they want. For me, this included money in my center console (a 20, 10s, 5s, 1s), gift cards, a rare antique engagement ring I'll never see again, and more. I had 2 unopened packages in the vehicle, one being a Seagate hard drive and another being a license plate holder. The hard drive was taken and the license plate holder was thrown back in since it wasn't valuable. Every compartment of my vehicle was gone through and thrown around my vehicle, even the zip up binder with the manual books to the vehicle. I had a lot of change in there also that was stolen.the contents of my glovebox, center console, cup holders in the doors snd everywhere else you can think of was taken out and thrown around the vehicle to see whatever goodies they could take. Service papers, receipts, everything. Precious pictures were thrown around and stepped on that were in my center console. Will be notifying the police. Make sure you look up the place that your vehicle is going to be towed away to even if you're terrified snd crying your eyes out in shock from the accident just like I was. Idk why the police allow vehicles to be taken here with all of these reviews of stolen items.Service: Vehicle wrecking

This place is shady. Upcharged after a mechanic caused threads to be damaged. Instead of rethreading they simply replaced and charged an additional $400 to the already expensive repair. The owner was rude on the phone with me. He insisted this bill be paid in cash in person as opposed to over the phone with a CC. $1200 cash... oh ya because everybody has that in their pocket???Avoid this place. There's better garages in Albany.

Bunch thieves and unprofessional. Stole 100 dollars worth of stuff from my car no apology hung up. With out albany pd they would be out of business. Never answers questions. Also they will move your car without telling you. Wish there was zero stars
