The first time I was there, they took care of me really quick, the teller was very nice. I didn't even know that bank was there, but am glad I found it.

one of their reps tried to sell me a credit card, i said i didnt want the hard inquiry on my report, but he told me "we don't do hard checks, it won't affect your credit." so i thought, hm, maybe my knowledge about credit isn't 100% accurate. a few hours later, my score lost 22 points. sure, it's on me for going through with it anyways, but the guy still blatantly lied about the deal. 1 star to me for being foolish, but 1 star to them for being untrustworthy and deceitful. why do business with someone if you know they'll mislead you?

Do not use the cash deposit feature of the ATM. I deposited 433 dollars and accidentally hit the "return all cash" button only for the ATM to make a grinding noise and declare that the "transaction cannot be processed." The ATM kept my money and nothing went into my account. After submitting a claim I was never given a claim number and told by a rude employee that I had to wait until Thursday for them to check the ATM and promptly hung up on. Called Thursday and was told the bank manager would call. She never called. I am close to closing my account and going elsewhere. This bank has essentially stolen my money and doesn't care to help return it, treating me like a nuisance every time I call.

Citizens bank sucks in general. Always a hold on checks. It’s getting frustrating. Worst bank I’ve ever had. Definitely finding a new one!

Terrible inconsistent ATM functionality. Seems like they are partly down half the times I go to the ATMs in the area. Hours of operation too limited and too many stacking fees. I wish I had never joined this bank when I moved here.
