Absolutely the worst experience of trying to get any kind of paperwork from Schwab. Unhelpful and these are the people i am supposed to be trusting to handle my money?? No thanks.

It’s a darn shame! Very disappointing branch. I met with a financial consultant who suggested some things. Upon his advice I sold certain funds and met with a fixed income specialist. I contacted the consultant back to Go over next steps. He didn’t respond, then apologized for the lack of communication. Said he’d get back to me, which he never did. In the meantime the Schwab statement has him removed as a consultant. I call to ask why and who would I talk to. I was told the rules at Schwab changed with no further explanation. I was told that they have millions of other customers! Like my questions were irrelevant. I am also told that the consultant will call me back that afternoon. No callback. A simple call explaining things would have gone a long way to trust, feeling like a valued customer and transparency. They have no transparency. It’s disappointing as customer service used to high with Schwab.This is a follow-up to my review. I received a call from Schwab’s Client Advisory Team, where Jessica apologized for all the poor/miscommunications with their call center and Albany office. Acknowledgement that there was a problem and an apology was appreciated.

My "higher up" Financial Advisor dropped my account without a word, during COVID, which i didn't know, until it needed help with a critical situation later. When customer service went to look at my account, the advisor was no longer listed as having any association with it, after years of assisting me. Now I can use a bot, or pay, if i need guidance at his level of service, beyond a broker, or if i have a minimum of a Mil invested. I offer two stars, since others have been so gracious and helpful in the firm, both on the investing and banking sides.

I don't know what the deal is with the other two people who reviewed Schwab but I totally disagree. I have been using them for many years and they always provide exemplarily service and good advice. Their platforms are great and capable of significant depth for an investor.

OK my experience so far with Charles Schwab two thumbs down! This company that is supposedly filled with great ad vestment advice had me on the phone and then transferred me 4 times just to get something as far investments go was beyond remedial ! Constantly wanted to know my net worth! asking endless question on who employees me? how much do I make ? entertaining this phone call was brutal to say the least lets keep in mind I was trying to open a small account and trade futures then turns into an a major I don't know what? I then research Charles Schwab and notice the amount of law suites against this company I'm guessing because its filled with dishonest people that engage in fraudulent activity, Then I'm giving some song and dance about change!! in 6 months? not sure what that was about the 6 months? I'm sure they have some type of lame excuse for why they cant open a small account and have it funded without BS!! of who do you work for? how much money do you make? what's your net worth ?! thumbs down to this house of nothing ! stay away from this company if I was you id show up use there rest room and leave !!! and possibly buy lunch anywhere else if I ever do make a billion Charles Schwab stock will be the first I try to sell short!!! into the ground. Later chuck ! thanks for nothing !

I opened a checking account online, now they want me to go to the local branch and submit a notarized letter confirming my identity, just to get access to my online account. I am dissatisfied.
