Awesome neighborhood wine shop! Small selection, but lovingly cultivated with some lovely higher end choices as well. Staff is also warm and welcoming. Can't recommend it enough!

This is a great wine store with a nice selection of different types of wines and a small selection of other types of alcohol including ciders. The staff was very helpful in assisting me in choosing a wine.

This is a cozy, and welcoming business with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The clerk was super friendly and helpful. They have wine tastings every Friday night and the store associate was very educated on the not only the origins of the wine, and comparable brands, but broke down what we could expect to taste as we sipped each one. My son is excited to explore Chardonnays so I think he’ll be going back. They have a variety of wines to choose from, some spritzers and small bottles of faves like whiskeys and vodkas, but not sure if they have the harder or more popular stuff some people prefer.

One of the best wine stores I have been to. They always have the friendliest staff and their prices are great! Wonderful selection, super friendly people, and best of all.... around the corner from my house.

I have gotten great wines and ciders here. Staff is friendly. The wine tasting they do in evenings totally worth it have never been wrong on their wine recommendations . Prices are pretty good too, there is a wide range. Great range of liquors too.. lucky they are I the neighborhood. Great quality products.

Capital Wine & Spirits Albany offers convenience, great service, and an excellent selection of wines to the Capital District.Located on the corner of Lark St and State Street, this locally-owned shop not only offers wine and spirits to the community but they also host countless tasting events, have been known to provide live musical entertainment, welcome four-legged friends, and even raise money for local charities.Despite all of that, folks come here for the incredible wine selection as well as expert advice as to what to buy. If you're looking more for hard spirits, they stock their shelves in small batch offerings from unique distilleries and distributors.You might find you're paying just a bit more than other liquor stores around town but it's definitely worth it when you consider the service they provide and that you're supporting local businesses.If you haven't been to Capital Wine and Spirits yet, put it on your bucket list...make that your 'wine bucket' list!
