“First time checking this place out. My husband was absolutely blown away with the collection of magic cards and there condition. Also had model kits and RC cars and honestly so much more. Inside is very clean and pretty well organized and the employees we interacted with were personable and easy to talk with. We will be back for sure we definitely didn't see all this shop has to offer. (I'm new to cards but my husband has enjoyed it for quite some time)”

“My favorite bookstore. It's such a welcoming space. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They greet you as soon as you enter. The book arrangements and displays are visually appealing. There's a large selection, but I always manage to ask for something that's not on the shelves. If they don't have it, they'll try to order it for you. If I'm at the Plaza, I'll stop in even if I don't need a book. You never know what you might find. No one rushes you. Browsing is expected. The store is peaceful and has a calming effect. I feel the same way after a yoga session only a visit to the Book House doesn't require the same exertion. Don't expect major bargains. The prices are usually as marked by the publishers. While I spend a lot of time reading online, I still appreciate the tangible. It's great to read a book and I'm glad that stores like the Book House are still in business. I believe it's important to support them.”

“Good Barnes. The place is tumultuous: there were kids who pulled the fire alarms.. Usually what you need is sold out or 'unavailable'. Not sure who it is that makes decisions here on what is ordered.. Up front the 'new' books never sell! I bough items at the bakery a few days ago and there was a long wait as a box delivery was happening.. at 6pm. Review: 4”

“The Albany College of Pharmacy Book Store is clean well organized and has a very nice selection of college apparel. The service was outstanding, Bob and Lynn were helpful and I was able to find exactly what I wanted and make my purchase. Also there was hand sanitizer available and arrows indicating where it was safe to walk so everyone could maintain social distancing.”

“Coolest campus swag. Yeah prices can be a little high here, but it’s real UAlbany campus merch. If you have no time to get a gift for a friend or running out of ideas, check this place out. Something for everyone.”
“Cute little bookstore near lark street.They have a great selection and usually some free books outside.It's a lovely spot, conveniently near many restaurants and shoppes. Just keep in mind with alternate parking it can be hard to find a good spot.It's definitely worth taking a look.I look forward to perusing their selection in depth soon!”
