Very clean place and nice staff! Prices were affordable as well. I’ve been to a couple south Asian grocery shops that weren’t well maintained so this took me by surprise!

This is the spot you've been looking for, I know I have. We love the new owner, he is super friendly and extremely helpful. He helped us order fresh green coconuts by the case because we have been on the hunt for them. We arent hooked on coconut anymore now were hooked on cashews making cashew milk and cashew butter so we love to buy our nuts here now too. They have high quality products we love such as mung beans, chickpeas, red lentils, coconuts, limes, lychee, bananas, cashews, pistachios, they have it all amd more. I recommend coming in to check them out and give your support. The owner even shared photos and stories of his dogs with us. What a friendly conversation from a smart, helpful and friendly owner. We will definitely continue to go back and support this business. I never leave public reviews but for this place I just had to share....people need to know when someplace is just that good. As a small business myself ( Invokingpeace. com ) I know community is such a backbone and support is everything. I believe in the owner of Bombay Bizaar so much I've even created a custom shirt (A Bombay Bizaar shirt) from my small business for his business ... we dropped by and he loved the shirt. Recently visited this new grocery store when we were in town. They have a good selection of fresh desi produce. And convenient parking space. There is a cafe inside which had many desi street food. And we had the fuska and dosa which was really good. It was a Clean environment. Definitely recommend this place. Would visit again when we come back.

A welcome addition to the capital region, especially since none of the existing Bengali restaurants here offer Bengali street food. We ordered the chopoti and the chicken lollipop and it was really good and the chopoti was really spicy, which we appreciate. The mango lassi was good as well.

Banglabazar is an amazing halal grocery store. It is a great shopping experience for halal meat, fish, vegetables and spices. They have a wide variety of items from different countries. The quality of everything is outstanding and the price is reasonable. Everyone is friendly and super helpful. Just a nice store.
