Sales people very good,store is beautiful. My only disappointment is the high price point for an electric fireplace. I was hoping for something better quality than Home Depot but not $7,000. ,for something decorative in an apartment.

I was excited to find a showroom that had most of the outdoor furniture I was looking for and had them come clean and repair the fireplace in the meantime while I made up my mind choosing which color/texture I wanted. The crew arrived completely unprepared. Yes, you never know which parts you'll need as it depends on the condition of each installment but how do you not have batteries? They wnent back to bring the batteries to test out the power supply. And we've paid more than $15k on furniture and fireplace but they couldn't even leave us the batteries which costs $20 max.
Charged us 190 ish for just 'looking at' our grill and said that was fee for 'diagnostics'.
Was about to purchase another furniture set but am taking my business elsewhere. Never returning.

See Paul in the Albany location. He was kind, professional and helpful on choosing a fireplace. The Showroom is beautiful. He helped me get exactly what I wanted in a wood fireplace insert.

I don’t often write reviews, but when I do it’s for a reason. You are either getting a 5-star rating like you deserve or a 0-star rating like you deserve. This one is the latter. I want to start off by recognizing Craig at Best Fire in Albany. He is the best salesman. He always made a difference in my home’s fireplace care. He showed hospitality and greeted me with a smile every single time I walked into the storefront. He acknowledged me upon entering and created a warm welcoming atmosphere. He had a positive attitude at all times. He showed empathy and was willing to assist me/my fireplace in any capacity that he could. You might be thinking this sounds all good. This should deserve a 5-star rating. Now let’s find out what went wrong…
The now operations manager/owner is Evan. He is supposed to be at the forefront of this company and he is very far from that. The reason being is that I purchased an over $5,000 insert from Craig. Best purchase I’ve ever made until my certified installer from a company other than Best Fire ran into a roadblock. We were missing an item that we paid for to complete the installation. The item was $219. I called into Craig to explain the situation and Evan did not want to hear how his warehouse made a mistake of not including it at the time of pickup from their warehouse. Why would I want/need two of these items? It was the least expensive item in the kit. Evan felt it was best (like in his company’s name “BEST Fire”) to charge me yet again for the missing item. He should be ashamed of himself for his complete lack of customer service. Evan could have made this right for me as a customer because at the end of the day the customer is always right. Since I needed the missing item, I ended up paying for it a second time, but still feel it was a greedy move on his part considering I spent a hefty amount of money there to begin with. If you are looking for a great salesman, Craig is top notch, but beware if you leave their warehouse without taking personal inventory of the items you purchased yourself. At the end of the day, it’s their word against yours and they will ultimately pull ahead like they did in my situation!

Very expensive. Not super helpful in explaining what went wrong. They fix it. At a high price. Pleasant staff. All trying to sell.
