Don't make my mistake; don't give them your funds! Be ready for someone sitting in their AML dept. to randomly lock your account for no reason and then no one else could possibly help you for as long as that department is "reviewing" your account. For me it's been nearly 5 weeks and I still don't have access to my own funds. They did the exact same thing to me wife a few months ago. I'm just waiting to get this one resolved and that's the end of my business with Citizens.

This will be a scolding review because I am fuming angry. Horrible online banking and customer service system. I have a car loan with them and figuring out their online banking is atrocious compared to other banks I work with. Getting a hold of customer service is also a nightmare. Go through a long automated process to maybe get someone who can help you. Their automated system has an option for “after hours online banking assistance.” I called twice, went through the whole automated process, told my call would be monitored blah blah, and then it rang twice and ended the call suddenly, like I was hung up on. The reason I’m calling after hours is that I just checked to see if they billed the right checking account for the loan and they didn’t. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with them over the weekend to switch which checking account my loan comes out of, as I couldn’t do it online, and then I submitted a manual payment to make sure everything went smoothly in the transition. This is what the representative on the phone told me to do. I did everything he said, he told me on his end I was all set, that I had switched my payment method to the new checking account, and paid a manual payment with that new account. I’m closing the other account, transferred all my money to the new one, so my balance on the old account was $0.00. I check again, and my balance is $-317.86. Negative balance of over 300, because they still billed my old account. Berkshire bank is the ONLY company I’ve had this much issue with. I changed my payment methods on everything else successfully: my mortgage, internet, utilities, PayPal, square card reader, and many other things. No issue. Only Berkshire. I can’t wait to get them on the phone tomorrow. I’m going to immediately refinance with another bank. So bad.

Berkshire Bank is a perfect bank for young adults. The cashier was quick and on the ball. The managers had a hold of the overall lobby and were prompt to make sure your needs are met. Gotta love that. Go Berkshire Bank
