Terrible experience with store Manager named James or Jimmy. Here is some background: I went into the store the day after Christmas to find out the value of my phone if I traded in for a new I-phone. I worked with the store manager to get a value on my phone, he said the value was roughly $830, when I asked is he sure because it was cracked he check my license, looked at the phone and confirmed the price was $830. What is more, he confirmed that I would be eligible for a monthly reimbursement of about $23 and encouraged me to purchase the 15 Pro. After completing the purchase, I said that I would back after I transferred the old information.When I went back I spoke with a different sales associate and she mentioned that the phone cracked would only be eligible for a trade in of $350. She went to state that he has done this several times and she often had to clean-up his mistakes because he constantly shares mis-information with customers. She advised me to come back in when he was there to speak with him directly to provide clarity.I went back in several times and he was not there. I got lucky one Thursday afternoon and he was there. The encounter was unpleasant. He told me a completely different story and backtracked what he originally said, made excuses, but never apologized for the miscommunication. I asked him if he gave the wrong information with the goal of just getting the sale and he denied doing so, but at this juncture, he is unreliable and untrustworthy. At the end of the conversation, he told me to have a nice life.Never in my life have I experienced such a lack of care from a service provider. His cavalier attitude made me feel as if I didn't matter. What is more, for the first time since I first became an AT&T customer, I am considering changing service providers to Spectrum because that experience was completely unacceptable.

I am beyond upset with my experience here because of the manager, Jim. I told him repeatedly that I did not want the most expensive unlimited plan and just wanted the basic one and he told me ok and signed me up for the most expensive one anyway. I looked to see why my bill was so expensive compared to what I was told it would be and saw what he did.He dragged out the process of me joining firstnet, told me I would get an account credit for the hassle and then when I didn’t get the credit he said he couldn’t do anything. We spent so much time setting it up and making sure I was verified and it took multiple visits and hours of my time. It was very stressful and inconvenient. Yesterday I received a notice my cell service would be turned off in 72 hours because I don’t actually qualify and he put a completely different job in for me during the process without me knowing.Sajaira is absolutely wonderful and did not act this way towards me at all. She was extremely helpful, professional and without her I probably would have my service turned off. The only good part of my experience at AT&T was her customer service.If you’re looking to get a phone line or anything else and Sajaira isn’t there, go to a different store because Jim will make the situation a nightmare and will do as he pleases regardless of what you think you are getting.Firstnet was the deciding factor in me getting AT&T and I wish I knew I didn’t qualify before getting through the whole verification process and saying I’m approved, paying for months of service and then finding out that I don’t actually qualify, that I’ve been scammed and that my phone service is going to be turned off because of a mistake someone else made that I have to pay for. I would have gone with one of the various other carriers that has service for hospital workers that aren’t nurses or doctors.

We saw Sajaira Hudson at the AT&T store in Styvesant Plaza in Albany about a trade in for an iPhone . She was super friendly, knowledgeable and effective and worked hard to get us the best deal possible . She is an asset to your company .

This store is the worse store i have EVER been too. On Nov 8 2022 my boyfriend and I went there to upgrade our PAID OFF iphone 13's, that were only 6 months old, the guy that was working Jahleem helped us and told us we would get a $800 credit for each phone if we upgraded to a iphone 14 pro. so we traded in our iphone 13's and got the iphone 14 pro's, as the transaction was going thru my boyfriend asked when we could pay off the new phones Jahleem told us that to wait till the credits hit our account cause once they did we would only owe like $200 on each phone, Jahleem told us to wait 3 billing cycles and then we could call customer service and pay the remaining of the $200 balance off. so we called after the 3rd billing cycle and the credits were never put on our account! In fact my boyfriends phone was never turned in till we called the store to find out what was going on with the credits, we also we found out that my phone was never turned in and was not at the store so it was stolen. so now we are fighting to get our $800 credit for each phone. Now we are paying over $1000 for each phones that we have now when we were supposed to only pay $200 each phone because of our trade in credit of $800 each phone, We were robbed out of $1600 and we have been fighting since january 2023 to get our credits. If we don't get our credits we might just change our cell phone provider all together, I don't want to be with a company that is okay with their stores robbing people. I normally go to the glemont store and NEVER had a problem like this before. The next step we will be taking is calling the police to make a formal complaint against this store, and hopefully get this resolved ASAP..

Even though they couldn't solve my issue, they tried so many various round about things that could have been the issue, like ensuring the phone I got wasn't blacklisted, trying multiple SIMs and trying and eSIM, ensuring that the model was compatible with the server, and probably another thing or two that they didn't tell me about. Genuine folks in my experience.

Terrible experience at this store. They start off great and are really helpful when getting you a new phone and trying to get as much money as possible out of you, but as soon as that happens that is the end of any service. Did a trade in back in September of 2022 with Ali and none of the trade in paperwork was completed by him unbeknownst to me and after the 3 months when the credits were supposed to be appearing there were no credits. Contacted att to resolve the issue and was told there was no invoice created by the store. Tried to contact the store and was promptly hung up on everytime I tried to explain what the issue was. Att was also no help in the issue as everytime I contacted them they said there was no invoice and even though I sent my phone in for the trade in there was nothing they could do about it. I have finally talked to someone in att support that seems competent and has opened a claim with the store to get the credits. We shall see if this has any positive results.

Horrible experience. This occured 3/31/23 @1015amWalked in and waited patiently behind a lady. Once it was my turn I asked to purchase a prepaid data sim for my hotspot for work.Instantly told “we don’t sell that here…”He didn’t seem to care or anything.He said I had to go to Walmart or a corporate store.Background: I’ve purchased data SIM cards from “authorized locations” before and went to colonie center ATT to purchase it instead. They are way better.He just was lazy and didn’t want to help me.Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Stopped in to return items purchased at a different AT and T store. Was told I could only return them at the store they were purchased at and not this one. Really? This does not make sense and is not a customer-friendly practice.

I went to the store and told my plan is 50 per month but the invoice I received is actually 120 a month! The guy just wanted upsell the plan for commission but without telling me the truth! Will never come to this place again!

Staff could be more knowledgeable. I've been there a few times and they told me to call corporate because they couldn't help. I signed up for a discounted plan and they never enrolled me into it, and then had to do back and forth with corporate for the mext few months trying to sort it out. It eventually worked out, but it was corporatebwho helped, and the store just deferred all responsibility.
