The furniture packaging is very good, fast loading and unloading, and the coordinated manager, driver, and loading and unloading personnel work diligently and responsibly. Everything is fine.

Nice guys but way too many broken items on a 500 mile move. Speed is not advised when moving and transporting. Overall very disappointed to have paid $9600 and have many items broken. Lastly, the movers managed to lose or misplace my 2 television remotes. I’d have been better off hiring the 3 stooges.

The Ideal Move through Allied were absolutely FANTASTIC! They made a very stressful out-of-state move go incredibly smoothly. We've all read/seen the moving company horror stories... items damaged or missing, items held hostage, unexpected and drastic increases in cost, etc. The Ideal Move was very fair with their quote, and honored it to the dollar. There were some additional costs, but that was because we grossly underestimated how much packing the company would do for us, and added an extra stop. Even that cost was extremely reasonable at just over $1000 considering all the extras we added at the last minute. Every single person involved in our move was exceptionally helpful and pleasant to deal with - from the initial contact with Kelly, through 2½ full days of packing with Rock and the crew, several calls to Carol in the office, to the final drop at our destination with Mark, the owner. Not a single moment did we second-guess our choice. Our old house closed on March 6, and the new house closing was tentatively scheduled for the 15th. Other moving companies quoted us exorbitant 30-day storage fees, even if we only needed a week. The Ideal Move offered to hold the truck until March 15-22 to accommodate us, and ultimately delivered on the 21st. They even left our furniture covered and wrapped since we were in the middle of renovations in the new home and told us to call them when the work is finished and they'll swing by to pick them up next time they're in the area. They said there was no rush - even if it takes a few months! If we ever have to do it again - which I hope to avoid at all costs - we would definitely choose The Ideal Move. We've recommended them to all of the realtors involved in our two closings and to all of our friends and family. I can't say enough good things about them.
