This place is such a gem. They do great work at a fair price, and I've never felt like I'm being taken advantage of or upsold some parts or services I don't need. Really lovely people and a wonderful example of an old school auto mechanic shop.

This is a great local Auto Service in Albany. Locally owned and run, LGBTQ+ ally, honest fair prices, excellent customer service and time management. Dan is a fantastic reliable person. I will always come here.PHOTO: Garages & Auto Service providers tend to be hyper masculinized places with an extra dose of toxicity. I’ve had bad experiences, I’ve had good experiences. The presence of anxiety is a common theme of both type of these experiences. A very small gesture like this one goes a long way, makes a customer feel safe & welcomed. Thankful for places like this.

Once Larry’s Auto closed up, I needed a place to go for general repairs for my Honda Pilot. Steve from Larry’s recommended Albany Foreign Auto and it’s a plus that it’s close to my place of business. So I gave them a try. Dan is honest, straightforward, and great to deal with. Very accommodating and their work is fantastic. You can’t ask for anything more. Highly recommend this place for your foreign car. Will be going to them exclusively from here on in.

I've been looking for a local place to bring my car into in, and I'm so glad I chose Albany foreign auto service. They were very efficient with my oil change, and explained everything that was going on with my car without making me feel stupid for not knowing. They do fair and honest work!

I am a generally anxious person and doubly so when it comes to my car. The peace of mind I gained from finding this shop is incalculable (thankfully no calculation is necessary as the prices are unerringly reasonable).
