Always find what I am looking for.Check out varys from slow to fastIt wasn't very busy when we were there. Great selection of groceries, they do have a gas station on the property for shoppers convenients.

I have continued to have a horrible experience with a specific cashier every time I come here. She is an older woman with brunette hair and every time I have to encounter her to cash out it’s anxiety provoking. The first time I encountered her I thought maybe she’s just having a bad day and I always give people the benefit of the doubt. However, since then, I’ve had two other encounters today being the third. She is so aggressive while cashing you out, she will literally throw your items and refuse to bag anything. When she hast to look up items for produce you can tell she is furious that she hast to do her job by grabbing the sheet aggressively and throwing it back down behind her register. She actually threw the receipt at my daughter’s face as I was grabbing my items. I watched her do the same thing to the 2 people she cashed out before me. I am done shopping at pixleys and would rather drive down the road to Aldi from now and that’s what I’ll do. The prices here are insane but I would still shop if this woman wasn’t here. There’s no reason for me to shop here and support local if they don’t care how their staff treats the customers.

It's a quaint little grocery store, but it's stuck in the past. Their prices are very non competitive, the selection is mediocre and their hours are terrible. 5pm on a Sunday!? No grocery store operates with those hours anymore, this isn't 1955. Sadly, their continual presence in the town forces people to shop at the even worse Dollar General as an alternative. OR they drive to Clarence or Alden for more suitable shopping. Your anchor store for the town shouldn't be the thing driving people to shop elsewhere. Maybe Tops will buy them up someday.. it's a cute store and family owned but it is antiquated and nearly obsolete

It’s a nice little store, prices are a bit silly, I’ll buy a few things when needed, but would never buy a whole list of groceries. I can only imagine what that would cost. If you need lots of things your better off taking the trip to Williamsville

TERRIBLE PRICING. The prices are completely off the charts. Pixley's used to be a great store. I have stopped shopping there. I now shop at Save A Lot in Alden. At least they know the meaning of the word SALE. I am quite sure many people in Akron have decided to shop elsewhere since Pixley's prices have gone through the roof. I think Pixley's needs a little competition to get them to stop being so greedy. Also, in Alden near Save A Lot right up the street is a Tops Market and next to Tops there is a Dollar Tree. It's only a matter of time that more people will stop spending so much money and switch to a store that is not so greedy. GOOD BYE PIXLEY'S

Read some of the old reviews. They have prices better than tops. Very clean inside. Cashiers were very friendly and helpful. Some items that they sell you can't find elsewhere. We went in because my mother shops here. She lives in corfu and she loves it here. I'm going to make her buy items for us that we can't get. My wife and I live in the falls so these stores are fun to walk thru to find hidden gems.

Been going here for years with my family, sad to see how far downhill the place has gone lately. The cashiers working at night are extremely rude and often refuse to help people. For example, some punk kid named 'Adam' spends more time trying to flirt with the female cashiers (who never look up from their phones) than he does working and we witnessed him along with some junkie looking kid in a trucker hat refuse to help bag groceries for an elderly man in front of us, and then they mocked him and made fun of him as soon as he left the store, disgusting behavior!The ladies in the office as well as the people in the deli are nice at least. Don't even get me started on the prices though which are almost twice as much as the nearby Walmart.

I shop here for the sale items. They also have some good prices on meat. The diversity of the beer selection, however, coupled with some really serious deals on beer overstock, motivates me to stop here whenever I am nearby. I recently purchased a case of 24 cans of Bud Light seltzers for 9.99! They also had 12 packs of Blue Light seltzers for $5.99. Otherwise, prices are higher here for basic items. Produce selection is sub-par. Frozen foods are higher priced here, as well.
