(New review ) things have changed for the better with the new postmaster so I’m giving it a four star instead of a one star.
(old review) I live in Airmont, NY 10952. The nearest post office to me is TALLMAN, NY 10982 PO. The lady clerk was very lazy and rude. She complained that I had made her carry the box from the counter to the back of the PO, which was about 7 feet. She told me next time, she will not accept my packages because I live in a different area code, and she only gets paid for packages from the same area code(which is, of course, a total lie. She gets paid a paycheck and not how many packages they get) if you have the same bad experience, please file a complaint and the USPS website

It's not perfect, but for a US Post Office, the service is fine, and the workers generally try hard. Keep up the good work!

I am changing any previous ratings for this Post Office from 2 to 5! Since this new PostMaster, Baird has been around so much has changed for the better!!! Please, please keep him. I will dread it if ever have to go back to the way things were. Thanks so much for listening!

Love this post office. The New stand in postmaster Baird is really turning this place around. He has cleaned it up and seems always ready to jump in and help his staff and the customers. I work locally I have had more clients coming into me saying how great he is. I hope he becomes permanent in this position.

I was there today and the lady from the front kicked me out of the store because I gave her a few envelopes...She was very very rude to me.I'll make sure that she is getting fired I have everything on video....

Today Wednesday 5/24/23 I went to this office at 4:43 pm, the door was locked. Four people were outside with me and after a minute or so, the clerk opened the door and informed us that she was closing early cause she was too busy with a prior customer. She didn’t take my packages nor the people next to me.

The new male worker there needs to fix his attitude or he’s getting it right back. Whenever he speaks he sounds like he’s arguing with you inside of being helpful like he’s suppose to be. Get another job if you’re so miserable, don’t take it out on customers.
