Fedex lost one of the packages and I contacted Homebuilders Hardware and they sent out a replacement the same day!!!! Great customer service, fast response, and they have inventory in stock! We had a door closer under warranty that failed. I sent it back and they notified us that we could accept a new closer or we could get a return of funds. We took the forme and they had the new closer shipped in a day. Excellent Service!!

Excellent customer service. Fast response to my pre-order question. Same person (Chaim) sent post-fulfillment emails. Same person handled my post-order request to solve a problem. Came to quick agreement how to solve problem satisfactorily. It’d be nice if they’d known about brand compatibility issue up front but their responsiveness outweighs that. I’d buy from them again.

I purchased a set of three entrance locksets from Homebuilders Hardware (via their Amazon store). Much to my surprise, upon receiving the items, I discovered that all three had neither lock cylinder installed nor keys! I am sure Homebuilders Hardware were just as surprised as I was when I reported this to them, but to their enormous credit they were able to quickly confirm that this was a defective lot from the manufacturer, and dispatched a replacement set to me by express mail, along with a paid return shipping label. Friendly and efficient service, highly recommended!

We bought online door opener from this store. When it was delivered to us, we noticed that the size was wrong and someone hand printed the size 3 on the side of the opener. This door opener was a lot smaller that we needed. We had to purchase the size 3 from another vendor. When we returned the door opener, we received and email with a picture that this door opener was used. We did not use this door opener and we didn't even screw this opener to the door. The handy man just opened one part, and saw that it was the wrong size. So, the explanation on email said that we used this door opener, so they reduced the refund to 25%. This is a new type of scam. They send you the wrong item, the customer has to pay to mail back this item, and than this store reduces your refund. Be aware that they do list their items with incorrect describtion and sizing. This website is a scam.

I had to exchange the hinges I bought for a different finish. Homebuilders was very helpful and quickly sent out a replacement set. I'm very happy with the product quality and excellent customer service.
