This bank is shady don't do business with them!!! I've had to report them to the better business bureau. I have a personal loan with them and when I tried to pay it off the stated it's my fault that the account information I gave them was incorrect when in fact it's their phone lines that skip while talking. They continue to charge me interest on my loan while they "looked into it". They also messed up my credit while they were supposedly looking at the issue. They did NOT call back when they stated they would which caused the payment to be "late" which accumulated more interest even though I tried to handle this situation long before payment was even due. They refuse to allow customers to speak to a manager and their customer service representatives shouts at you and will try to talk over you. I am warning everyone not to do business with this company.

I have been banking at NBT bank in Afton for 19 years. I have all my personal accounts and business accounts (3 separate business)What fantastic people to work with. I am always greeted with a smile and a good morning. Any questions, they are happy to answer and to help.Best bank ever

All staff at Nbt Afton treat me with the upmost respect. I run a Property Management Company with multiple accounts . They go out of thier way for me every month. I also have all my checking savings and Mortgages through NBT. I consider them all my bank family.

They treated my mother like a criminal for trying to cash a check. Me and my family will no longer bank here and will be going to corporate. This is a crime for an employee to allow their personal opinions of someone effect their treatment in a bank scenario. how dare you try and withhold my mother's money.

They have a very rude staff that allow personal opinions of customers to interfere with their money. Staff are handling their business in an unprofessional manner letting their personal feeling interfere with bank policies and procedures. SO DISGUSTINGLY UNPROFESSIONAL ME AND MY FAMILY WILL NEVER BANK WITH NBT AGAIN.
