We live in a small area where restaurants aren't exactly everywhere. We can't really be picky if we want to grab something someplace closer than 20 minutes away instead of cooking ourselves. I wonder sometimes if that is something that the cook/owner also understands. I order food from here somewhat often. I never know what I am going to actually get. I rarely get the meal I choose as it is written on the menu. I tried ordering it "exactly like the menu". Not even close. So I just stopped ordering that specific meal and switched to something else- no luck there either, at least after the 1st time I ordered it. About 25% of the time I love what I get, so it's certainly not all bad. I just don't understand why they have a menu if the cook/owner just decides to put whatever they feel like on the meal which is usually about half of a medium onion sliced, a 1/2 of a jar of banana pepper rings, and half a sweet pepper. Sure, I just pick them off, which takes about 15 minutes and then I am left kind of disappointed by what is left, which isn't much. I like spicy stuff but this is just overkill, and none of it was on the menu as coming on the meal. I wanted the meal that I paid for, like the one time I ordered it and it was delicious as written on the menu, simple as that. It's just disappointing that this is the best we have in the middle of nowhere so we just keep ordering from there when we really don't feel like cooking or traveling farther for something we know will actually be good. Bottom-line, if it was more consistent, I would order from the Bucket a lot more often. The bartender is fantastic though!!

We were very fortunate that the Bucket Bar & Grill was close by and open as we were 5 very hungry hikers! We were pleasantly surprised on how clean and new the restaurant was. The owner's mother was our waitress, she was a sweetheart! The portions were generous and the food delicious! Two of us ordered the Chicken Philly Cheesesteak salad. The salad in my photo is the small! We were impressed that the salad didn't include any iceberg lettuce, just good healthy greens. We also had ordered the BLT and a Ruben with fries, which were also very good! We were all very happy that we made the choice to stop there! The food, atmosphere and service, exceeded our expectations.

Went here on a whim as me and my family were starving and passing through the area on the way home .. pleasantly surprised with very friendly service as well as JUICY and DELICIOUS burgers.. the boneless wings were good too .. try it out if in the area .. worth the stop!

I went to this country bar and grill on a Friday afternoon. I got the wings. I got the mild and was pretty hot for mild. The bartender was very friendly and helpful, warning me about the spice of the wings that they were hotter than most. Saw plenty of good looking food coming out of the kitchen. looks like it could be a very fun place in the evenings.
