Just got my cheese order from Adams Cheese Shop out here in San Diego, Ca. Every cheese item was well packed and cold on arrival. Already enjoying the squeaky cheese curd and aged 10 year old cheddar. Thanks again and will order again.

Nice squeaky fresh cheese curd. Best anywhere around. Good selection of other cheeses and varieties of other items such as jelly's, maple syrup mustards...etc. great little shop with parking right in front.

Caveat Emptor ...Over the weekend the proprietor's wife absolutely gouged me on the resale of a xxx 3 year aged cheese. The whole block 10lb block if you drive to Lowville costs $72. I asked for half a block and they charged me $62. That is absolutely highway robbery, and a 90% markup!I spoke to the proprietor, and he was going to look into it and get back in touch with me. I have not heard anything since. I would love to support my local shops, but I cannot support a 90% markup.Cheese Scalper!

Wonderful little cheese shop that sells an assortment of cheeses (many locally produced) along with other food and gift items. On both of our visits, the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. My favorite part of the shop was the fact that they offered at the time of our visit no less than four different choices of cheese curds. One was made from A2 Milk which we thought was really cool considering we are big fans of A2 Milk, and one was from the Great Lakes Cheese Company also in Adams. Our understanding is that they get fresh cheese curds from Great Lakes each Thursday. Ours were so fresh that they really did squeak when we ate them.
