Stop by and grab some tacos or a taco fry you assemble yourself with microwaved ingredients. Check out my picture of the breakfast burrito with green chilie. You would think green chile is scarce by the amount i received.

Stopped in today for lunch and loved every single product on the shelves. Many never seen before products, well stocked and displayed at great prices. I ordered two beef tacos and my buddy ordered a burrito to go. My friends burrito was the bomb but he had to give up half of it to me because when I opened my container I found two yellow corn crunchy Taco shells, empty and 4 solo condiment containers with unseasoned meat, shredded cheese, lettuce and runny thin picante sauce that's it. Very disappointed. They need to change their menu to say "Taco kit" or just stock next to the El Paso Taco kits. My friend who took me there special to show off their food was so upset we turned around and went to complain and received a full refund for my meal and no real apology. Like I said, great store, bomb burrito but steer clear of the tacos. I'd drive out of my way for another half a burrito though so I still give them a solid 4 out of 5.

The all-in-one stop in Velarde. Convenience store/gas station/grill that offers all the basics.I opted for the taco 4-pack. The spicy mix is spicy, so if in doubt get the regular ground beef mix. The meat mix might have had other meats. I'd ask to clarify. Also, better to eat 'taco salad' style. The gentleman behind the counter provided friendly service.

Stopped in for breakfast burrito and this place never fails! Young man that was cooking accidently put green Chile in my burrito instead of on the side and couldn't thank him more!! It was fantistic as usual!! Kudos to cook! Forgot to mention staff is amazing!?

This has been our go-to place on weekends. Our last trip was disappointing. My wife got a tortilla burger and I got the green chile cheeseburger, both with fries and a fountain drink. Both burgers lacked any type of seasoning. He burgers tasted bland. All it takes is some salt and pepper while it’s being cooked. Adding salt after the fact just doesn’t work. I’m hoping this issue is fixed so we can return.

Just needed to use the restroom and get a snack. It was a bit of a hassle trying to pay for my food as a regular customer appeared to be needing change for a larger bill. When I was walked up to purchase my food, the cashier hurried and rushed me to be faster. Slightly awkward. Otherwise, the location was convenient, and the snacks were plentiful.

Drove all the way out there to eat the tastee freeze tacos.( Locals know) anyway kinda expensive and when we got the food we had to assemble the tacos! Everything in little cups. Small portions. The girl cooking showed us the food then closed the box. If i wanted to cook i would have stayed home. I asked for a re fund. The cook put the food under the heat lamp and sold it to another customer. If they are worried about covid why wasn't the cook wearing a mask? Never again.

So happy to have stopped here. The nicest people and this was before our car delay! We stopped in on a Sunday late afternoon and car trouble. We asked for help and they got a mechanic there so quick! Very thankful! Love small towns that truly care!

Best green chile burrito in New Mexico! We stopped by on the way to the airport and I now have my favorite breakfast stop. My husband had bacon, and green and I had no meat. The burritos are around $8 because they are HUGE, we could barely finish them. The chile was super flavorful and the cheese was hot (which is usually hard to find). Perfect amounts of potato, egg, chile, and cheese.

Decent on the go food. Chicharrone burrito was not very warm. They definitely use leftovers. This is the second time stopping in. I'm sure I'll be back but I'll order something different. Breakfast burrito was a but pricy for gas station food.

Oh my God the Mexicali was so bad, it didn’t have but one slice of jalapeño and one little piece of tomato, if I wanted a regular burger that’s what I would of ordered. They use to be so good, they have no pride in the food they areselling anymore or they are hiring people that don’t know how to cook!!!!!!!
