The owner was putting out the Open sign as we drove by. We love finding local businesses. He welcomed us in and explained a lot about his wooden bowls. One of his gorgeous bowls with turquiose accents will be headed back home to SC. I love knowing the bowl was handmade and meeting the artist. The building history was interesting also.

I've purchased many beautiful pieces of art from Don along with antiques. His work is exquisite and everyone who has received one of these pieces from me has treasured it. The prices are great also. Don't miss this gem if traveling through the beautiful village of Tularosa.

Found this cool antique shop by accident on a random road trip. Stopped in and met the owner and his daughter as I was browsing. You will find a lot of really nice antique pieces. Not the cheap, light stuff either! The owner hand makes bowls out of reclaimed wood and does a great job of it!

My favorite place to search out great antiques. I picked up a chair and a first generation Brownie Camera (ca. 1916) and both function perfectly and look awesome! Don is the owner, and if you stop in ask to see his handmade bowls. Each one is unique, and he inlays turquoise into the nooks and crannies of each one...they're something really special, and they're on my Christmas list!
