I have been going to these people for over 25 years, most of the time it is in and out no issue. There have been 4 times when it was troubling with the indoor staff. When an issue arises, they will not find or try to find a resolution, instead they talk down to me (customer) as if I don't have a clue of what I am talking about. Today was one of those time (5th time) and was such that lead me to post this. Issue: I questioned the amount that was filled on one of the 100-pound tanks and was told the amount is correct when I know for a fact it was not. When I explained why I know this, the person in the isolated hut explained to me that’s the way it is and why. He then proceeded to let me know I can take my business elsewhere (fire me as a customer after 25 years). I know sometimes things may need attention, but this kind of customer service is one of the saddest I have come across consistently with the indoor hut crew and I am again disappointed to see this happen after the old crew has left a while back. I guess this is their business model, oh well.

I've been a customer for over 11 years...First time I needed a delivery within 5 days, they said they couldn't deliver till following week, which would have made it over 7 days, unless I paid $50 extra on top of what they charged me already to fill the tank...then they came within the hour. What a racket! So much for customer loyalty...they might have competitive prices, but they'll screw you over given the chance.

I was with Amerigas (not by choice) until a few minutes ago. We were finally able to buy our own tank and did so with country gas. When they said they would be here, they were! And today they installed our new tank quickly and the propane delivery driver was here on time and ready to fill the tank. Gas prices were low and no extra charges added on. Good by Amerigas! I could not be happier!

First time I needed my tank filled within 7 days. They charged me an extra $50 to come 5 days after I ordered. So much for customer loyalty!!!

I wrote a negative review a few years ago and it's no longer appearing in their review portfolio.... (only ones written by friends or fake accounts are appearing). Fun update: they sent someone to auto-refill our tank 1.5 years after the last refill and after we cancelled our account (eye roll emoji here). When we called to remind them that we cancelled our account 18 months ago, the receptionist said, "oh yeah; I see it here." We had asked them to remove our credit card from their files too, but they hadn't. 100% incompetence! Really?? You haven't been here in 1.5 years, and we only now need a propane refill in our auto-refill subscription??

Very solid company! I woke up to realize that my propane was at 5%. After calling my regular company that I’ve used for the last few years, they refused to put me on the list for the day after calling every single business in town literally twice. Country Gas helped me out big time. They sent an inspector to inspect my tank and now it’s going to get filled all within the same day. Thank you guys so much you just gained a new customer!

Updated review: we returned from a week long vacation to a cold house. Our propane tank was empty and we are a newer customer on autofill. They are closed for a holiday weekend. I sent an email and we had a call back within an hour. The guy is on his way now to refill our tank. I am very grateful!

Yesterday when they came to deliver propane the tank cover was full of ice and he couldn't fill it. He actually came back later that day after his last delivery and chipped all the ice away and filled the tank. It is so good to have that kind of service out here.

The employees are great. Explain and answer my questions I have. Always pleasant. I drive all the way from Cerrillos to fill my RV tanks.

Really terrible customer service. Like truly some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The lady is rude, condescending, and uninterested in helping customers. Reading previous reviews I cannot comprehend why she has not been fired yet.

When getting propane filled on-site go to the younger guy with the little cross tattoo by his eye - he actually fills the tank and is a nice guy - the somewhat larger and older guy with the crew cut hair shorts you a pound or two- and is kinda a punk when he talks to you- I've decided it's not worth fighting over but if I'm in the wrong mood some day it might be...

Will never go here again. Unfriendly staff that loves to talk down to you. After buying propane here for several years I'm fed up with being treated poorly almost every time I go. I will truck myself into town just to avoid this place and the terrible people that it employs.

Great local company. We got out of our lease after NM Propane was bought out by Amerigas and purchased a new tank from Country Gas. They showed up when they said they would, they have great customer service, and are competitively priced. This is where I will buy my propane as long as they are around.

I have been here 11 years in Tijeras. All those years serviced just by country gas. These guys simply rule. Great service, great propane delivery. When it snows don't forget to help out by digging out a path for the truck to your tank. And mark the filler cap with a flag if the tank is under ground. The more ya help out the driver...the more great speedy service he can deliver with his awesome self.
