Are we still indoctrinating natives with garbage catholic ideologies that take humans from their true place with the earth … how can they afford to be sending so many gifts and helping people at the same time . This seems like a shell company . Cant get them ti stop sending garbage novelty native items . Like commercially produced dream catchers , bags . And blankets … none if it makes any sense

After years of requests to stop all the junk mail, free gifts and other requests I have written a letter demanding to be removed from this mailing list. I doubt it will help but its worth the try.....all of you mailings go unopened ....into the shred box.

Unsolicited "gifts" and money aka 3 pennies. I dislike this type of guilt provoking request. I choose to support the Southwest Indian Group which is also Catholic near Gallup NM.

I don't know much about this org so am giving a 4 star just to be fair. However, I agree that too many charitable organizations are sending "gifts" (gloves?, greeting cards, etc.) that I don't need and detract from the true need. I think consultants are advising that if they spend a few bucks on unsolicited gifts, people will be guilted in to giving. I get several a week on top of the standard letter which I probably get 25 a week...many from the same organization. What a waste!PS...I always check Charity Navigator to see how the charity spends its money. Unfortunately, SBIMS does not get rated by them. But I did see articles on-line about affiliations with aggressive mail marketers...to my point above. I SO wanted to send them a donation!

They seem so sincere in wanting to help the children in their school. I have changed my Amazon prime donations to Smile Amazon St. Bonaventure Mission & School. I hope I can help a little more now!

After 30 years of donations, my Mother is deciding to stop donating to St. Bonaventure. After many repeated requests to stop sending "gifts" and repeatedly asking St. Bonaventure to use the money for the children's welfare she continues to be sent these "gifts". Please address her concerns and use all the donations towards the Mission. Thank you.
