Walgreens staff is polite, but short-staffed with short hours and overworked. Pharmacy has only one pharmacist and is closed on weekends. Thought after 5 months it would get better. I waited an hour Thursday, Friday, Monday, and today, only to once again reach the front counter and told "Oh we have been busy. we need another 20-30 minutes to fill your prescription." They have had 6 days to fill it. It is a common medication. I have stood in line while a small kid pooped it pants, a woman was heavily doused in gagging perfume, another man stunk of cigars. So I have lost 4 hours of my life after work to be told by pharmacy staff they couldn't take the time to fill my prescription.

Absolutely terrible. I’ve been going for a few years but today was the worst, waited in line for an hour and then waited 20 more min to actually get my prescription and ID back. Everyone there moves in slow motion. I don’t know if they’re incompetent or just don’t care. Just know you’ll be waiting for EVER, and if you are in line past 6 they won’t see you ? and they aren’t even opened on weekends, I liked the drive thru but I’m never coming back here lol just all around the worst pharmacy in town

One of the worst Walgreens I've ever been to and I've used Walgreens in 7 different states. Although most employees are polite they are chronically understaffed. It's not a "staffing shortage " it a managerial issue. Taosis a desirable location to live, you should be able to attract professionals.

The staff are good and accommodating in the pharmacy. Overall the store is just over worked. The place is a little hectic to say the least. Given that it's DTLA. Expect the understandable chaos.

Great customer service. Treats all customers with respect and will help when needed. Other pharmacies in Taos have been horrible and treat others very poorly. 100% recommend this pharmacy.

This pharmacy sucks! Slower than death and rude. I waited in the drive thru for 45 mins with only 2 people in front of me. If there’s issues then they should have those people go inside to deal with it. Drive thru is supposed to be quick

The Taos Walgreens pharmacy is a joke. Understaffed and incompetent. And they charge 3x comparing their price to GoodRx.

Do not waste your time with the pharmacy, especially if your medicine is taken daily and/or necessary for your daily function. The pharmacy is either not open or there is a line 10 deep. This is no reflection in the outnumbered folks working the counter. This egregious ineptitude rests squarely on the shoulders of management. Their negligence has proven significantly detrimental to my health, employment, and personal relationships. I hope I never have to set foot in this place again. But let me tell you how I really feel...

I feel bad for the employees because they’re obviously shortstaffed and doing their best. However this place is ridiculous, they’re out of stock of most everything I need, and the rest of the items on the shelves look like raccoons have gone through them. I had my dentist in Albuquerque call in a prescription, then when I came to get out they said they didn’t fill it because they don’t deal with my insurance. I said that’s ok, I’ll just pay for it out of pocket, but it would still be an hour to fill it?! Also, I’m tired of getting hassled by hobos in the parking lot. I’m not talking about actual homeless people who need help, but tweekers and drunks that aggressively panhandle and follow people through the parking lot. Walgreen’s corporate needs to do something about this place. I’ll just go to Santa Fe.

***PHARMACY HOURS VARY*** Like a regular Walgreens only with way WAY less in stock. Awesome employees, it's not their fault the chain has no bags, no more AAAA batteries, nyx make-up products, etc, etc... There's a nationwide shortage of everything -in case you're not aware. Taos is a cool place but we're going to get hit pretty hard with shortages so if you're from out of town bring your own stuff next time if you can.

The Pharmacist was incredibly arrogant. I went in at 5:45. The pharmacy was closing at 6 .. he told me he could not look up my profile on their computer. He simply refused to help me. I was there to obtain a Rx for a seizure/neuropathy medication .. I was visiting the area & had forgotten my bag (my fault) I also didn’t know the pharmacy hours were so short (my fault) .. he said come check with another pharmacy manager tomorrow.. and shooed me away. Then laughed as I walked away. Unnecessary, arrogant, unwilling to go that extra step.
