Don’t waste your time or your money. Before I called, I read other bad reviews about this company and to my detriment, I overlooked it because I was desperate to find someone in Taos who could help with packing a large van full of my beautiful furniture. Some were handmade and priceless to me. I should have know with the first contact with the owner that their phone voicemail was full for days. Needless to say, it was a sloppy job of packing and every other piece unpacked upon arrival was broken, chipped and table legs severed. The broken handmade pieces can never be replaced. Save yourself some heartache.

If you're living in the Taos area or moving here, it will be worth it to go with a Santa Fe company like Zen Movers. The crew was half a day late, broke items, came with a team of 3 but only 1 of them was not a child or senior. I had to pay for the extra time when they had to come back the next day because THEY CAME LATE. I booked a month in advance and described what I had but when the team arrived they had no idea what I had or where I was moving to. The owner had the gall to tell me they had called the day before to confirm and that I didn't answer. He's a liar and a bad one. It's 2021 - I have a digital record of you never calling me and of me calling you to confirm 5 days prior. They got mad at me for not standing at the truck directing them, then ignored me when I did. Beyond unprofessional. Made an exciting day an awful day.

They made my move easy! Very willing to set things into place and always patient! They were careful and wrapped the mattresses to keep them clean! Just an all around first class business!

I hired M M & Storage of Taos NM ( 575 758 1643 ) thru Daniel Cordova to pack up my home in Angel Fire NM. I was not present thru any of it in 2012. I just took my stuff out of storage with Hinds & Hinds Storage Oct. 26 2017. I paid to have my furniture boxed and wrapped which was not done it was just placed in storage. I hired others to do this before hauling it to Columbus Ohio. This outfit is not trust worthy if you are not present. Tried calling them to no avail may be out of business. Wayne

Daniel is a nice enough person and did come highly recomended . The problem is, he brought his entire family including children with him on one occasion, always showed up fairly late in the morning. The largest issue is that when all was done, I notified Daniel that several boxes were missing. There was no reply. I was quite suprised. I can't say enough about how kind the family is. I would use him again for a much smaller move.

I needed unloaders for my out-of-town rented truck but did not know what time I would be pulling into town and even kept changing my ETA. Mountain Moving's scheduler remained friendly and flexible throughout my several calls with change of plans. When I finally did arrive and call, they brought out a hardworking, extremely polite group of young men and an experienced crew chief. They all listened well, did what I asked, worked very fast, took no breaks, and had a great positive attitude. They even swept out the truck and storage unit (empty areas) without being asked, and helped me unhitch the car carrier and rehitch it when we were finished (despite freezing weather). I was impressed with their workers, crew chief, and scheduler. Would use them again.

First off, for drivers coming to the area looking for cash labor. The dispatcher Daniel will set up the crew at what ever time he chooses regardless of the time you need the help. He set my crew up with a start time of 11am not 8 am like I wanted. He delayed my day by three hours. He didn't even care how he affected my schedule. I recommend getting help from Johnson United #900 out of Santa Fe, I've never had a problem with them. I mean who wants to start an 8k # shuttle at 11am and then have to drive all night to work the next day handling another customer sleep deprived. His attitude was that he was the only mover within 80 miles so he was doing me a favor with the labor. Not the best way to run a business. Makes you wonder how much he takes advantage of the locals when they need to move...... Just the worst experience in my 18 years as a driver for United. Learned my lesson, stick with a well established moving company.
