From one business to another, I feel this company has forgotten where they come from and how they started. It’s very sad when a small business turns big and then doesn’t treat small businesses well. They are definitely not family oriented. I feel the owners who took over forgot all the hard work their parents went through. Everyone starts small remember that! As far as their product it seems as though it’s declining every month from taste to presentation. Zero communication and horrible customer service. P.S If you want preservatives this is where you go. If you don’t want preservatives this is where you don’t go.

The best tortillas I have ever had here in the states. These tortillas bring me back to my childhood in Mexico and want to order more!! Wish they were available here. Every time I go I bring back dozens and freeze them.

My family went to them for help donating maseca for a gordita sale after my sister lost her house to a fire. The owner very begrudgingly told us he didn't know why we were looking to them and ended up giving us a TORN sac that was falling apart. God forbid he donate a full untorn sack, wouldn't want them losing money, product, clients. Never buying their products again!

amazing I love this place I know it will be super successful in the future, it is the best and I admire how the sons of the father carried on the legacy I know there dad would be super proud of them, everyone should buy this,the guy who did the one star review don't listen to him the flautas are amazing, yes one or two came broken but that's all it was fantastic *putting a picture to prove it* and when you eat it you feel the ambiance.

Best tortillas and tortilla chips I've had up until now.I love that the corn tortillas have a fresh taste and aren't super dry like other brands I've had. Will be my go to brand from now on!

La Primera is number one in El Paso, even Walmart sells its Tortillas and homemade tostadas. Tortilla chips are very good, not salty, very good quality.

A huge surprise! And the best I've eaten commercially in Arizona.
I bought this brand online at Walmart. It took three days for me to get them via FedEx in Tucson in pretty good shape, considering the usual shipping hazards.
Since this outfit has no local outlet here, I most likely will be repeating my order.

My 2yr old child was about to eat this tostada, I can’t believe that this is even on here. I’m glad that I took a look before she put it in her mouth because that could’ve really harmed my baby! You guys really need to make sure that your machinery is updated or idk what caused for the metal to get fried with it. Please reach out to me because I would like to discuss the seriousness of this situation.

I am extremely disappointed with the decline of the “Hot Tortilla Chips” over the last 12-24 months. The chips used to be smothered in the chile powder, making them a delicious treat. Now, the chips are barely covered with anything at all. You can see the difference when you view them at the store. They’re mostly brown. They used to be vibrant with the red chile powder. Sadly, they don’t taste the same anymore. I feel the company went from one extreme to the other, leaving many of their loyal customers disappointed and dissatisfied. Surely, we can meet in the middle and please the customer who enjoys the present tortilla chips and the customer who likes them just as they used to be. If they can make some modification or produce a new product for customers like myself, I would gladly return and continue to support this local business. Until then, I’m afraid I won’t be purchasing this updated product any longer. Thank you.

This is the worst tortilla out there!! Stay away. I've never in my 10 years of making flautas has this happen. Spent 3 hours making this just for every single tortilla to crack. They all broke. What a waste of time and money. You will regret buy these dam tortillas. Not to mention the poor quality control. Over half of the tortillas came broken. La primera sucks!!!! Im disgusted with this entire company. Based on the other reviews they won't be around for long.
