Walkability: You are right downtown and within walking distance to Civic center and one of the prettiest ballparks you’ve seen.
Food and drinks: Always good.
Noteworthy details: One of the most elegant and beautiful hotels in central El Paso. Quick walk to Civic center and downtown restaurants and shops. The bar sits under a huge circular stain glass ceiling. One of the most romantic spots in town. You have to go to the rooftop bar at sunset. Make sure you call ahead. Scenic views of downtown.”
“This is the second time we stayed at Stanton House driving home from West Texas. We love this property. It is beautiful, the artwork is stunning, the service is great, and the food is delicious! It’s easy to get to on and off I 10. Our server Eva in Taft Diaz was adorable and the food was terrific. Our valet, Josh, was charming and helpful. Anytime our travels take us through El Paso, we will stay here.”
“Underrated clean, comfortable and great experience every time I stay. Great facilities. The gym is clean and well equipped. Breakfast is always free and has great options. The pool is nice and clean. The area has a scenic view of the mountains.”
“Our air conditioner broke in our home and we had to immediately find somewhere to stay at 3am and Candlewood Suites was more than helpful! They are pet friendly and their pet fee is very cheap compared to other hotels. The staff is very friendly and offered my dog some treats when we got here :) The room is also giant and comes with a full functioning kitchen! If I ever have to leave my house again I will definitely come here :) and will be recommending everyone I know from out of town to stay here :)”

“Comfortable hotel.This is really a Railroad Hotel. Most of the rooms for the railroad crews that pass through here. Diner on premises that has good food, always open. If they have extra rooms, they'll rent to non-rr people. Check in at the Peggys Diner. Key card to get into the hotel. No elevator. Rooms are nice, fridge and microwave. My room had a coffee pot. Soda pop machine and ice machine downstairs. I'll stay here again if passing through. There is a Love's truckstop close by also.”
“This review is highly overdue. Want to start off by saying my woman and myself decided to road trip for my birthday this year. And we drove overnight in June thru hot Texas. After about ten hours on the road we decided to stop at this location for a little nap before continuing to AZ our destination. Pat at the front desk welcomed us in and pointed us to the restroom. Once we got out Pat made sure we felt comfortable and welcome. She was an awesome host. Once rested and ready to hit the road she also made sure we had a snack for the road and was also nice enough to take a pic with me for my road trip photos. We wanted to make sure she knows that it was my first cross country road trip and also that her location was the best and most comfortable place to stop-out in west Texas because of her hospitality. Thank you Pat keep being awesome ?
Food and drinks: I loved the to go breakfast bag. Kept us from having to stop. Saved us time and was not lacking in the satisfying hunger section. Genius”

“It's a good place to stay weekly, which is just a little bit too high. Compared to Mesa Inn. Which daily rates are way better than others. I gave it a 5 star because it is convenient place to stay for cheap daily rates

“Full Breakfast was amazing ! Eggs and bacon was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were nice and clean , smelled fresh and the beds were very comfortable. For the price , this hotel was top top choice in my book. Friendly staff . Quiet atmosphere and the pool was refreshing. I can't think of anything negative to say about this place.
