My three lessons at Wild West Weaving with Hosana were a great success. She taught me how to weave Rio Grande style on a standing loom and the dovetail weaving technique. Her technique, tips and sympathetic encouragement really helped me. I left with a piece I am proud of, and a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Great place to learn the art of weaving from owner Hosana Eibert who has decades of experience in weaving, spinning and dying her own yarns. Wonderful shop with oodles of possibilities for you.

What a great place & the owner is a doll. I was doing some Christmas shopping and found a great Clay vendor there as well and bought a Micaceois Clay coffee mug here. I will be back!
Wild West Weaving is a fiber art school, studio and gallery specializing in Southwestern handwoven products and instruction. Owner Hosana Eilert has been weaving in the Rio Grande and Chimayo tradition for thirty years, having apprenticed at Centinela Traditional Arts in the early 1990's. Her gallery features one of a kind tapestries, rugs, and table weavings, hand spun and natural dyed wool, as well as contemporary and traditional fiber, clay, and jewelry items from local artists. Hosana offers classes in weaving on Rio Grande walking looms, frame looms, spinning, and dyeing. Guest instructors in other fiber arts are also hosted occasionally. Warping, restoration, and commission also available. We hope to see you at Wild West Weaving soon!
