I had been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my neck and was referred to the Physical Therapy department at Southwest Bone and Joint Institute. My therapist, Zach, was amazing. We got along great for the month that I was being "tortured". (An inside joke between me and Zach!) The staff in the PT department is also great to work with. The best phrase I heard from Zach was, "This place is not 'no pain no gain'." And he proved it. When I returned to my Orthopaedic Surgeon, he agreed that surgery would not be necessary!

I’ve had fantastic success using Dr Robinson and his staff. They are helpful, professional and knowledgeable. My family will continue to use SBJI for all of our orthopedic needs.

Dr. Robinson cared for my daughter after she broke her arm at school. He was extraordinarily kind and compassionate to her and took the time to explain everything about her injury to my daughter and my wife. I was grateful for the excellent care, but it was his compassion that really impressed me most. Everyone at Southwest Bone and Joint were kind, courteous and helpful.

Great staff, friendly and professional! I had therapy about a year ago and the treatment I received at Southwest Bone and Joint was outstanding. The therapists really take the time to get to know your individual physical needs and limitations in order to provide you with a comprehensive therapy plan you can follow well after your allotted sessions are over. After experiencing severe sciatica pain for almost six months, Southwest Bone and Joint got me on the right tract towards better, pain free health. When my wife started experiencing back problems, I encouraged her to receive her therapy through Southwest Bone and Joint. She was not disappointed. Thanks to Chris, Barbara, Keith, Becky, Mike and the entire Therapeutic Staff for your excellent commitment to your patients health and wellness!

I went to Southwest Bone and joint for treatment of a " trigger finger ". My provider was Richard Lempke PA. He did an excellent job.He explained what was happening with my fingers and what was the actual problem. He explained my treatment options from conservative to aggressive. I chose a more aggressive treatment and he then explained the risks associated with that treatment before we committed.I did not tell him this, but I am a nurse practitioner and one of the local primary care providers. I never tell any medical specialist that I see, that I am a primary care provider, and may be referring my patients to them for their services. I always like to see how they treat patients, when they don't realize that they are other medical professionals.Richard's care was exemplary and would highly recommend him

Dr. Robinson was kind, patient, and informative. He really took the time to outline all the treatment options and make sure I was comfortable. The staff assisting him was also very nice and accommodating. I have so much appreciation for their help.

The Dr talked down to me, so condescending that my husband doesn't even want to go back. I'm a grown woman. To be told I won't do well because of where I live was about the nicest thing I was told.Got sent a letter for an appointment I never made saying I missed my appointment.

The worst care I've ever received. Used "gotcha" & fear tactics to force me out of the ER with a badly dislocated trimalleolar fracture. Actually told me I would have to pay the entire bill myself, that my insurance wouldn't cover it because I didn't appear to be in pain (really?) and there was no code to cover someone who, they continually accused, was faking. The whole thing was so stupid it was frightening. Told me I had an "appointment" to see the doc on Monday, which turned out to be the time I could show up as a walk-in (no pun) & I had to wait 2 hours to be told that it would be many weeks to surgery, that I required an MRI & that he had to "order the parts." Meanwhile, the "reduction" he performed in the ER didn't stick--TWICE, one of which was performed under a hellish ketamine nightmare--so my ankle remained dislocated until the time of surgery. Now, one would think a fibular plate & screws were in every orthopedic surgeon's toolkit, but not this guy. I decided I didn't want someone who saw my injury a couple of times of year, apparently, to be reading instructions while he ham-handed a repair. Got myself to Tucson Orthopaedic Institute pronto, where they see my fracture multiple times a week. SWBJ is an absolute joke. The place you go when you are forced to, have no other choices. My advice is that if this is your only choice, you should still figure out a way to go elsewhere. Good luck.

Wonderful experience. The P.A. really spent alot of time with me and made sure I understood my condition. He even took the time to take me to another area to see my x-rays. The check in girl and the X-ray Tech were awesome. The only reason I didn't give (5) stars, because the check out girl was nasty.

The nurse and doctor were rude and disrespectful.
