Jason C Smith here. I'm an honest man and I expect others to be that way. I trust people. Probably too much. In short, I would never trust Ray again. He lied to me about everything, from the cost of what replacing tire pressure monitors would be (he said $1000 dollars for all four tires - which is about $600 dollars higher than the truth). Ray had my truck for almost 3 weeks (he said he'd have it done by the end of the day) and was hired to do a couple quick things (1. Inspect the brakes - which he never did. 2. Put two door lock regulators in (he did one but not the other 3. Put new tire sensor monitors in - he said he'd charge me $1000 for that job!!! - I'm not that gullible - so I declined. 4. An oil change.) My truck was in there, for 3 weeks, and all he did in ALL of that time was one door lock regulator - which he charged $570 for - ( i did the other one myself - and, with zero experience, and some YouTube videos, it took me three hours and a $30 dollar part) - same job that Ray charged almost $600 for... Ray did the oil change and that $600 bill for the door lock regulator. That's it. Nothing else. One door lock regulator and an oil change, over the course of THREE weeks!!! I went to his shop, day after day, and he kept giving me lies, and brushing me off. I had just bought this Truck, a few days before, from a local used dealer, scheduled an appointment ahead of time with Ray, - the (used) truck had a 15 day warranty... and Ray, doing what he did, keeping my truck in there for 3 weeks, used up that warranty. He basically cost me a lot of time, hassle, frustration, money, headaches, and he's just ABSOLUTELY not to be trusted.

They really know what they’re doing here! I managed to destroy my tie rods in the mountains. Obviously this resulted in a lot of work being necessary. The quality of work and attention to detail was exceptional! Considering the amount of work that was done and the quality of parts used, the price was quite reasonable. Highly recommended!Service: Steering & suspension replacement

Shortly after moving here I took my car to a car repair place closer to downtown for a routine service. They informed me that they didn't rotate the tires because I needed a new steering arm and tie rods ($1,300). The "work" was done, but the car was not right. Took it back to the shop twice..no results. I then took it to RPM (big mistake not taking it there first). They FIXED the mess that the other shop made and at a very reasonable price. I agree with the other reviewers ...thank goodness for an honest repair shop in Silver City.

The owner Ray is a straight shooter and stands by his work. I had a "squeaking" issue with some brake pads he replaced and he installed a new set without question and free of charge. No more squeaking and the brakes work great!! A great guy and great mechanic.

My wife and I had a great experience with rpm!!! Took my 300c in cause I couldn't figure the problem out myself after spending a few hundred bucks. Had the car 3 weeks and came in way under budget. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a shop thats fair in price, but also very friendly with great customer service and very helpful during the whole process thanks fellas!!!

Rpm clinic is probably the best auto repair shop in grant county. I would highly recommend them to anybody for quality service and a positive addition. They get the job done correctly.

I was traveling from Tucson to Silver City when my Toyota 4Runner developed a loud "popping" noise in the rear differential. I called RPM and spoke with the owner. He had me bring it to his shop first thing in the morning. He took a test drive and also put the vehicle on the lift to diagnose the problem. He suggested I take it to a specialty rear-differential shop since it has a Locking 4x4 rear end. He then offered to tow the vehicle back to Tucson in a few days -- for a VERY Reasonable rate ! 100 % HONEST and very Reasonable. I highly recommend this shop !

Here's the deal - my jeep had a vibration issue and a friend recommended RPM as the most honest mechanic they knew. My friend was right. As soon as I stepped in the door, Ray didn't hesitate to hop in my passenger seat for a test drive. They figured out the issue immediately, connected me to another shop that had the parts I needed, and offered to do the labor once we realized the other shop had no time for the repair before 4th of July weekend. They recognized that I was in a bit of a time crunch and squeezed me in with just enough time to get on the road. I made my trip up north, no problems. Had I not stopped at RPM, I would have ended up stranded in the gila with a blown tire, or worse. So grateful for the speed, honesty, collaboration, and simply excellent work. Don't sleep on RPM!!

I usually do most of my own mechanic work, however once every few years I have to take a vehicle to a professional mechanic because the job requires special tools and or a mechanic that knows how to use them. I could have taken my vehicle to a shop in Safford which would have been 30 minutes closer for me, but by talking and getting to know Ray (the Owner) at RPM Auto Clinic the last few years, I am convinced he is one of best and most knowledgeable mechanics around. He is honest and stands behind the work done at his shop. He is a stand-up guy and if there is a problem, he will make it right. Thanks RPM Auto Clinic!!

Got a bren new transmission done there.. After that the truck never ran right!!! Took it back and talk to ray. Then He took it for a test drive came back and said it rans just fine. Then I asked if he put a new torque converter he said it didn't need one, then shortly after he said he did change it !!!!! If I got on it real hard it would not shift I had to let off the gas for it to shift!!!!!! 3 year later it GAVE OUT !!!!!!!! So I called them to see what they could do, they told me that I needed a new transmission and there was nothing they could do!!!!!!! WOW baddddd Business rip offff !!!!!!!!!!!

I really appreciate this place they have been honest and fair. They have given me quotes and the work went smoother than usual so they informed me and it came in well below the quote. If you want to check something they find, they will show you why they feel the repair is needed. They treat both my wife and I the same. I had the wife get a quote at another shop for something and her quote was much higher than mine, but not at this shop. I really trust this shop. Their level of integrity is great.
