“It was my first time at this Walmart, and I reckon I like it - it seems to be pretty laid back. I only needed a few things but I had an hour to kill while my daughter did grocery shopping, so I took my time. The staff was very helpful and the whole place is certainly clean as a whistle. It's nice to have a Subway inside the store. I couldn't resist buying a nice fresh sandwich on my way out!”

“Visiting from Texas and got an emergency prescription filled here. I’d never used Walmart pharmacy before in my life and didn’t have my insurance information on me since I was traveling from out of state.. Shout-out to Gabby and Tony for helping me out in my time of need. They were able to look up my insurance info by my SS # so I wouldn’t have to pay full price! My prescription was also filled in a timely manner. Not sure what it is about this town but everyone seems to be very friendly and helpful :) thank you!!”

“This is the best Walmart I have ever shopped. We travel several months of the year in an RV going across the country, so we have a lot of stores for comparison. The aisles are much wider than average, the store was clean as was the bathroom and parking lot but the amazing part was the employees! The 2 young girls in cosmetics initiated an offer of help & went out of their way to try and find a product for me. Very helpful. Then an employee was guarding a spill in frozen foods until housekeeping got there to clean it. He noticed us looking for something and helped us find a similar product. Before we left, he called out to us that he had found the one we had been wanting. I was amazed at such personalized service. Silver City is lucky to have such a well managed store.”

“I’m giving 4 stars for one reason. The pharmacy closes at 7p Mon-Fri, closed on the weekends. What??? Pharmacy is closed on the weekends? I asked the reasoning a couple of months ago and I was told that they had 2 pharmacists quit at the same time so they don’t have the man power to operate 7 days but that they’re working on it. It’s odd that a pharmacist would just quit let alone 2. This isn’t a huge deal for some people but for those of us that have funky schedules, it is.The staff is nice and helpful so that’s a good thing!If and when they extend their hours to match others, I will definitely update the review.”
