Beware receiving care here. Most patients don't even see a doctor and the PAs are rude and under educated. I was recently in the ER with a family member and I could hear the nurses laughing about a patient who was obviously having a very hard time. They were discussing her private medical issue and making fun of her within earshot of other patients. So disgusting.

This is about the Urgent Care Clinic, because Yelp doesn't yield results for a search for it. I believe it's associated with the Gila Regional Medical Center. I was a walk-in patient for a busted thumb and in a lot of pain, so I wanted a professional to evaluate my injury. The front desk admin folks were kind and professional. After that my actual care went downhill. A tech, or CNA (she didn't say) took my vitals and put me in a room, but she seemed indifferent. After a long wait, a young PA came in and briefly reviewed my medical history, but with minimal eye contact or expression. She then used a tiny needle (23 Gauge), making four tiny holes in my thumbnail (a much larger, 18 Gauge needle is the standard of care), then pressed my badly bruised and painful thumb hard to get a very tiny amount of blood out, leaving a large hematoma virtually untapped. Realizing it wasn't going to get better than that, I just went home and heated up a paper clip, then pressed on the thumbnail, resulting in great relief and a much larger amount of blood drained from the hematoma. I can't imagine what my insurance will be charged for this really substandard care and indifferent attitude by the medical staff.

I thought I fractured my hip, fell off of an ebike 2 times really hard. I am 62. I went to the ER, the wait was not bad considering how busy. I had an xray within about 1/2 hour of getting there. The whole visit was about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, not bad. They are understaffed and overworked, but every nurse, doctor, admin, cleaning person, all of them were very professional, competent, nice and I am very grateful for their care. They work very hard, yes...understaffed, yes overworked, but still good care.

Awful experience. Went in with my grandmother and after 5 hours she was hungry and thirsty. They told me they'd lock me out if I went to get her a water from the car or vending machine. Slow, old equipment, and not allowed to eat or hydrate no matter how long you've been there.

Amazing, dedicated, compassionate staff in the ED! I was there for an adverse reaction to a medication and was very sick and very scared. All of the staff was very kind and didn't make me feel like I was overreacting. They took me right in and I was out a few hours later feeling so much better. Thank you to all of those who helped me last night, I'm forever grateful!!!

I’m disabled with many chronic illnesses. I have lived here a few months only and have had five occasions to visit this ER. Substandard care at best. It’s as if the staff couldn’t get jobs anywhere else so it’s bottom of the barrel all the way. For a place with so many people who have been exposed environmentally to god knows what, through no fault of their own, the county really should take much better care of them. Shame, shame, shame!!!

Worst hospital. The ER took an xray yesterday and told me to check in today for the results. Now I'm supposed to wait until Monday, eventhough I can't walk and it hasn't stopped bleeding. I was there for over 5 hours for them to tell me to call and this is the sh!t I have to feel. What the heck!! It hurts!! An ER is supposed to help

4 stitches and a month later billed $800 when it would have been 240 if I paid same day which is honestly still too much.

I have been there a number of times mostly for out patient surgery, and one time for a green light laser surgery. I have never had so much attention from the nurses as well as the Doctors I have had there. My last surgery was for cataracts one on my left eye that had my vision at 20/800 and 2 weeks after surgery my vision was at 20/20 !! Going back to get my other eye done, hopefully I will not have to ever wear glasses again after wearing glasses for 62 years. I also work with Dr. Lash across the street from this hospital and if he finds something that needs to be addressed he does it that day at this hospital, never had care like I get there. Iam looking to move closer to this hospital.

Police brought me here requesting medical procedures that I did not approve. I was restrained, drugged and anally explored without my permission. This was a violation by medical staff of the hippocratic oath, HIPPA Compliance, and my 4th 5th, and 8th civil rights. I'm speaking with my lawyer to see exactly how Gila staff and facility can make amends for the wrongs they have committed.

The reason I went in to Gila Regional Medical Center was to have my blood drawn. I have a busy work and school schedule so my time is pressed. Upon entering through the back of the hospital I was able to find a parking right away so I was lucky on that part. I went into the building which I believe was labeled accordingly instructing me where to go. I took my number and sat down in the crowded waiting room and patiently waited to be called. It was the morning time so it was not too busy yet but I was able to find a seat alone. After waiting for around fifteen minutes my number was called and I was directed over to a small desk for registration. The lady was friendly and greeted me nicely and within about five minutes I was registered, then more waiting. I sat again this time for about fifty minutes watching "Live with Kelly and Michael" on t.v. so it wasn't too bad. When I was finally called the tech had informed me that my blood draw was an evening draw and that I would have to return later that evening after four o'clock p.m. I asked him if there was a reason that it took so long for them to figure this out. He did not have an answer. Upon returning luckily they were able to get me in right away when I approached the cubicle telling them the earlier situation. The lab tech was very pleasant, explained the procedure step by step and made sure I was comfortable. It was over and done with after about five minutes. She even let me have a sticker! I was satisfied with the second experience but dissatisfied with the first which is the reason why they only received 3 stars.
