We were driving through Shiprock and decided to stop. Very friendly staff helped me to select Navajo made silver earrings. We also bought a lovely storyteller figurine signed by the artist. They have rugs too. Great values if you can make the drive.0

I shopped here late October, 2021. I purchased what was described to me as Acoma pottery. I held the piece and marveled at its fine lines. The piece was expensive. The young female clerk took the piece to the back to wrap carefully for my trip home to Arizona. When I got home and unwrapped my treasure I found I have been given a different pot. Similar, but not as well painted. It has a card attached to the underside that describes the artist as someone associated with the Acoma tribe. The work is not what I first held. This is clearly a bait and switch tactic and a great dissapointment. My husband asked if I had watched her wrap it and I did not...that was a mistake.

I would recommend that you visit this place before all else if you are a weaver, whether you're a beginner or professional. The staff here is extremely helpful, friendly, and courteous. They offer great prices and an assortment of products even beyond the weaver's tools. Thank you!
