Really beautiful place, really close to the highway. It’s amazing how this places has managed to captivate our attention while we were on our trip to Texas. It’s really deep and super cold, but the feeling you get when you first jump is all worth it. The two diving spots are perfectly safe and integrated into the landscape which adds to the feeling of this hole being part of an endless cave.

We stayed in Santa Rosa and went to the blue hole at 8am and jumped in! The website says they are open 7am-7pm but we didn’t see any employees, just one group putting their feet in the water. It was amazing experience! So refreshing! A perfect thing to do to wake you up and prepare you for the drive ahead!*Note: the hole is kinda tucked away behind the dive shop so don’t confuse the 2 lakes out front for it. Look on google maps at your location to make sure you’re in the right place.

Had a blast here! Did come on a Saturday morning so it was crowded but not many in the actual water since most of it is super deep and cold. Many hang around the edges watching people jump. Others hang in the pool but in the small section that actually allows you to stand up in the water. Also, just do the jump. It is a bit nerve racking and after you jump it feels weird being in mid air for as long as you are, but it really isn't very big of a drop and the biggest thing is the shock of the cold water hitting you. If you need to acclimate, go off the small diving board jump first. It takes awhile to swim to the entrance after jumping which is the hardest part of it all. The jump is easy, just do it! You'll be glad you tried.

Matt and I stopped here moving him from Oregon to Georgia in January. It was cold and windy, there was no one here except us, so we jumped in... The water's fine! It was actually fairly warm. Meat place to stop to cool off, or warm up.

Kids and husband did the higher jump and thought it was fun. I did the lower jump and glad I did. The water is cccold but it was 100 degrees outside so warmed up fast. It's fun if you aren't too far from it; no need to drive hours for it. The play area in the lake was fun for the kids (teens) but it closed at 530. Website said 6 and Google said 7. It was a bummer bc they only had 30 minutes and it wasn't cheap.

Beautiful spot. Water is blue and a summer “cold”; feels just like a summer creek on a hot day but a bigger space. It was very crowded today but to be expected. It was a Sunday at lunch time and 85 outside. The negative was the parking fiasco. They have young men stopping you at the parking entente to tell you there is a $10 parking fee. But you have to go inside the convention center to pay the fee. The actual blue hole swimming spot is free. Also keep in mind there is a mini water park next door to the blue hole at blue lake. It requires a payment and wrist band that is also taken care of at the convention center.

I spent a couple of days with my family in town and executed a couple of dives. Location is breathtaking and the visibility of the water is crystal clear. Site has exclusive scuba diver parking and wet room for changing and showers.

Always a fun stop. Got to hop in and cool down. Busy but not over crowded. Refreshing. No dogs allowed in the water.

This is an amazing stop in the middle of the desert. Blue, clear water just boiling up from underground. Water is cool so if your driving through in the summer it's a great place to stretch your legs, have a picnic and take a cool dip.

Place is beautiful and amazing. The water is cold, clear, and deep. Area is nicely maintained and open to the public. Water is from underground spring and is the same temperature year round. I went in January on a cold day and found people swimming. On some days you will find people getting certified for scuba. A true oasis with nice friendly people. Highly recommend.

A stop on every vacation trip . I very nice place to take a break from the road. I have never gotten the nerve to swim yet but it is beautiful. They have several picnic tables available.
