Pharmacy does not answer their phones!

The lack of customer service in their pharmacy is downright criminal. I have used them for years and over this past year their approach to customer care has been hostile and abusive, if they are even open. They randomly close early and open late. They keep you on hold for hours and hang up on you if they bother to answer. Just NASTY!

Terrible place. Had a question for pharmacist so I called, was on hold for15 minutes when I finally hung up. Went down there, was confronted by a line stretching down the aisle. Waited for over 20 minutes. Over half an hour between phone and in person to get a simple question answered. Steer clear of this place. I've started getting my prescriptions at at cosco, not nearly theproblems at wall greens.

Do NOT get vaccinations here!!We got RSV vaccines at this Walgreens mid January of 2024. They charged us an administration fee that we should not have paid. I have placed 10 calls to here trying to fix it. I have placed multiple calls to my insurance and mail order perscription companies. I was informed that Walgreens did not submit it correctly. Apparently once it has been 7 days the store is unable to correct. I feel they were biding time until the 7 days were up. The people I spoke with were unprofessional and very rude. Clearly they were not interested in helping me. Stay away from this pharmacy!

Picking up prescriptions is a nightmare. There are usually 25 people in line, at least. There's an average wait of over an hour to talk on the phone with someone in the pharmacy. Most of the pharmacy customers are seniors. The cashiers aren't able to assist with ordinary questions. They don't have the information or authority. There's no one in the store who's accountable for ordinary questions. They refer people to the website. E.g., do I need an appointment for a Covid vaccine? The website is useless. Also, my bank & credit card are from California. They've NEVER been accepted in the store. I've complained. I've changed my pharmacy and I don't shop there anymore for sundress.

This store and all Walgreen's stores are the worst drugstore/pharmacies operating in the US right now. Doctors don't want to use them because they waste so much time communicating with them, I hate them because you can call to ask a question and get hung up on 4 times, transferred to the outer universe at least once, and if you are lucky and the stars are aligned, someone will answer your call. But will they give you accurate information - probably not. And DO NOT bother to make an appt for a vaccine, you have to stand in line anyhow as their pharmacist told me repeatedly when I said I could not wait in line through 20 people it would be 6:00 PM before I got my vaccine. Too bad, that is how we do it so yes basically making an appt for a vaccine is useless. And isn't she such a pleasure to have a conversation with. Oh wait, a conversation needs two people to interact, I don't think she knows how. Walgreen's, are you being sold and trying to lower costs and in the meantime drive all your workers mad? Or are you going bankrupt? Whatever, either have a full service pharmacy or get out of the business. For Heaven's Sake, hire some help and maybe someone to answer the damn phone. And BTW, the store manager/director was supposed to call me, of course he did not. Figures.

Extremely incompetent and apathetic pharmacy staff. You can’t work through challenges with this pharmacy- if your order isn’t simple they become defensively hostile. Im always very polite with them, so I never understood that part. So if you must fill an rx here, don’t ever point out their mistakes, not even politely; they WILL form a posse against you and make it hard to get meds (hang up EVERYTIME I call, tell me they don’t have scripts for me before checking, etc). Or maybe they only did it to me (as a black woman I do tend to earn some confusing and unwarranted hostility) . Either way, that’s who you’re dealing with here. Here’s one of several examples: there was a tech who deleted my script and denied I ever had it on file because she thought I hung up on her. Her supervisor backed her up till I showed evidence, and even then the sup still wouldn’t release the name of the tech. It’s like middle school. Overall, the staff makes it obvious that you need the meds more than they want to dispense it, so they use it as some weird powertrip leverage/punishment. I know good pharmacies are few and far between (which is why no one feels pressure to change), but trust me, this is the worst option if you care about your health and want to stay healthy. Mentally, no one there is older than 5. That’s who you’re dealing with.

Disappointed with poor customer service. I understand this is a very busy season for pharmacists; however, to have so little respect for someone’s time- especially someone who isn’t feeling well is inexcusable. Very disappointing. If it’s going to be a couple hours before a prescription will be ready, then just be honest and communicate that.

Definitely would not recommend this pharmacy. ALWAYS issues. Every time the wait time is almost an hour, guy behind the counter seems to very slowly take his time and not know what he's doing

So it is 7:27. And I waited in line for almost 2 hours to get my medication. The pharmacist Miranda was giving shots and was letting people cut out of the long line to get their medicine. People that had only waited 20 to 30 minutes while other people waited up to 2 hours.

I have been going there to the pharmacy for 15 years. It is convenient for me. They are rude, do not answer to phone, or pick it up and then hang up on you. Customer service is not a priority. Last week their rudeness was finally the straw that broke the camel's back. I have moved on to CVS.

Fully agree with all of the awful reviews of the pharmacy. Our child is sick, has a fever, needs antibiotics. Urgent Care sent over the prescription an hour before closing, we waited for a while as they fiddled with the computer, only to be told that they cannot fill the prescription because some remote person was not at their computer and not processing it on their end. We were told that no other pharmacies are currently open so we have to come back in the morning, then the woman shut the gate on us. Guess what though? There ARE other pharmacies open later. We transferred our prescription, and will NEVER be Walgreens customers ever again. BEWARE -- their incompetence and lack of compassion could leave your sick child without the medicine they need.

We should give this location the Worst Customer Service award. The store employees are kind, but the pharmacy staff are the worst in Santa Fe. Stay far away if you expect good customer service because you won’t get it here.

Had some trouble with my card, Sébastien was an amazing worker. Didn't lose his patience with us and took care of our whole transition with extreme professionalism. He is a credit to your institution.
