The best movie theater! Great food and beer selection. We only wish they had a local or loyalty program (such as a discounted night for locals or punch cards) since we like to visit so often.

First off, I love Violet Crown. However, it’s been 2 or 3 years since I was last here. I’ve been coming here since its inception. Either Violet Crown is under new management or it’s struggling financially. I understand, the pandemic changed everything. I noticed: the complimentary water is no longer flavored, the popcorn bags are generic (which isn’t a big deal), but I liked the cool ones with their logo, no more hot drinks (it's been a while), the flautas aren’t blue corn anymore and no jicama salad, the serving dishes are different, and these just a few things I noticed while having dinner within about 30 min. I’m not trying to come off rude, spoiled, entitled, etc…it’s just changes I noticed.

This theater showed a PSA for the Espinola Aninal Shelter. It was so touching that I reached out to the shelter to donate an item for their current fundraising effort. I was so impressed that a local movie theater would show such an ad. Kudos to you for your community support!

Poor customer service and substandard equipment. Went to see a movie. Only one showing for the day. Movie wouldn’t play. Waited 35 minutes for them to try to fix it. Then still wouldn’t play. It was their fault but they refused to give a full refund that included the processing fee. The least they could have done is offer a coupon for a free popcorn or something. It was their fault that we could not watch the movie. But they still did not care. Their policy is not very customer oriented when you’re out money for something that was their fault.

It was an interesting experience, to say the least. The cashier at the concession stand was incredibly kind. The interesting part for me was the fact I could order beer, wine, and SALMON, and yet the seats were incredibly uncomfortable, and there was no reclining ability. Every time someone moved, they creaked loudly.

Nice movie theater experience in the heart of the Railyard District. Includes bar and restaurant experience but there are many options in the area.

Love the crown fries and a glass of wine with a movie.

Only reason I came here was for the $7 Tuesday but they’ve gotten rid of it since last summer so I guess I’ll just be going to regal where they have reclining seats!!

It was easy to select seats and buy tickets to 'Napoleon' on line from home. Underground parking was plentiful and free with a validated parking ticket. There are chargers for electric vehicles in the parking area. There are also lots of spaces for disabled persons. Theater staff was very helpful and eager in responding to our questions. Stadium style seating means there is not a bad seat in the house. One can buy dinner and beer from the counter (it would be misleading to call it simply a snack bar), as well as popcorn, candy, and sodas to take into the theaters (there are a number of different screens). Our only quibble is the food is high-priced, which is really the standard for theaters everywhere.

Never had such a poor experience last night. My show was at 10:15 and I got there only 5 minutes late, I wanted to buy some popcorn and a drink but apparently all of your registers were closed. You guys barely let my friend buy his ticket. Why have a late showing movie if your customers can’t enjoy it the way violet crown advertises? I’m told I can’t take in outside food or drinks but you won’t let me buy food or drinks from you? I always expect better from this theatre being that its not apart of regal.

Violet Crown, are you okay? We saw Flower Moon recently and what used to be a pleasant experience, was actually quite disturbing. The popcorn was stale and the butter was old. The soda machines did not work properly. Ordered a burger and it was flavorless and the fries were soggy. We were shocked to see the theatre filthy. Popcorn all over the seats. Used to be spotless. The restrooms were disgusting also! It was a terrible experience. We used to love you, VC. What happened? New owners, please clean up the place!
