I have tried 3 times now to drop off donations at the Zafarano location and no one comes to the door. I llove helping the animals out but the people who are supposed to support the effort need to step up.

This is not a thrift store by any metric. It is an upscale resale shop. With that said it is a charity & they do have some nice stuff. I would have given more stars but after purchasing a reasonably priced (not thrifty) but on the more expensive side item I realized they didn't give me the discount they had advertised that day all over the store.. I asked and the counter lady looked stricken and apologized then a much younger lady said it didn't count because it was vintage. I am very well informed about this particular item and brand & knew for a fact it was not produced over 20 years ago. The company was only founded 25 years ago and this item was from a more recent production run that I confirmed when I looked it up. I told them as much and the younger lady still denied the refund. I hope it really is a charity because that's the last money I'll spend there. Most things I saw were extravagantly priced anyway. The only reason I bought this item is because it would have been around the same price to buy online with shipping. even though it was slightly damaged it will suit my purposes

Cute place to find unique items for a good cause. I go there every time I travel to Santa Fe from California. Got stuff for my dog this trip and the denim jacket looks so cute on him.

This has been one of my favorite resale shops even before the staff rearranged it and made it easy to find whatever your heart might desire. Great prices and unexpected treasures!

Im not sure if this can be considered a thrift store anymore. I questioned why a jacket (not leather) was $125. New mgr came back & said he would look it up - he didn't. Then in a chatty cathy voice kept saying "your just upset because I didnt cave".I was not interested in the jacket - just thought it was a bit much for the store.I used to love the store & previous mgr.Oh well, times change.

I found the most amazing present for a jazz musician friend of mine. They always have great stuff and the staff is very friendly and helpful. AND you're giving to our local animal shelter! What could be better than that?

My daughter and I went in and she found an extremely well-made ski sweater in excellent condition for $35 and I found Italian style, dress pants that fit perfectly and for a great price! We've always been welcomed warmly and thanked for helping to save cats' lives.

This was definitely the worst thrift experience of my life. My first sight upon walking in as a 23 year old male, was the witch like piercing stare of the elderly cashier at the time. I knew immediately that I should not be there. I began to browse the clothing, just to find the highest prices i have ever seen at any low quality thrift store. I was warded away from the meager mens clothing section by a pair of $80 supermarket jeans. However, despite my gut feelings, i was determined not to rule out the cat just yet. The women's section was a tad bit larger than the mens and I began to page through some overpriced shirts. After finding nothing interesting, i looked up to see the elderly white woman staring at me as if i were a finicky potion she was tending to. This continued on as i looked through the rest of the racks. I was interrupted on multiple occasions by the woman practically chasing me around the store asking passive aggressive questions of my well being. After one interaction. She returned to her counter to pick up the phone and whisper into it, i thought nothing of it, until two massive security guards came through the front doors to stand guard around my shopping. When i had seen what small selection there was to see, i walked out with 2 of my friends. During my visit, the store temperature had greatly increased and the over-shirt i was wearing was no longer necessary, so i removed it. However when i began to walk out, i heard a screech behind me, i turned around to see the cashier and security guards nearly sprinting towards me. They pressed me about the over shirt I was currently holding. Soon they made it clear that i was obviously stealing the shirt from their store. I had to defend myself from the loud barrage of accusations by showing them the receipt and tag of the shirt both from another store. I walked out with eyes on my back and thankfully the store as well

I have to say that the past 4visits to the stores .. I have left empty handed. I realize it's t benefits animals but it has become jus ridiculously expensive for a 2nd hand an possibly 3rd hand store .
