The world is changing, the art of the artist, is largely overlooked, this is one of those rare places, that you can see, a true artist at work, learning the technique of glassblowing, they have pieces for sale that are quite unique, and if you enjoy and treasure something physical, this is a definite must place to visit, there are a couple of restaurants nearby, that you can research, that have great food, and with a little bit of luck you'll probably run across a movie star

Our time at Tesuque was the highlight of our trip. David was an excellent teacher. He had the perfect balance of instruction and giving artistic freedom. I would highly recommend taking a glassblowing class to anyone interested. Our lesson was between an hour and a half and two hours. I was able to make an ornament and a tumbler. My husband made a very unique vase.

Charlie Miner has produced works in his studio that have been added to the Smithsonian. Budding glass artists use this studio to build their own skills.

Absolutely fantastic experience! We had a glass blowing class with David, and he's a great instructor. The process of making glass things from the molten glass is fascinating and engaging. We each made a glass tumbler and a small bowl, and they turned out so cool. I highly recommend Tesuque Glassworks! ?

Driving in the hills around Santa Fe, we came upon this little gem! They advertised a glass blowing demonstration on their sign and so, as fellow glass artists, we HAD to stop in and see their work. Now brace yourself: They had some absolutely spectacular creations, using a wide variety of techniques, including, of course, glass blowing, wax melts, carving/casting and kiln fusing. If you like glass, whether you are a fellow glass artists or not, if you're ANYWHERE near, you simply MUST stop in! And when you do, check out their lilypads - they're just fabulous!
